Oh no much blabbing going on today!

Ladybird - No I didn't as he came home without warning, stotting drunk, came in and scoffed my chinese that I purposely bought in flavours he hates, then went to bed and snored his head off the rest of the night. I've just sent him to lidl for some carb free sausages and baby spinach for me to eat. Starrrrrrrving to death here.

I thought we had made some progress on Keira's bedtime wee'ing, she woke up herself twice last night to go to the toilet but still managed to pee in her pull up. Is it okay that she is 4 and can't stay dry at night now? My sister was dry at 2 and a half?

Keira goes to bed around 8/9pm, usually nearer 9, but if she has had a nap after nursery it's more like 10pm ish, as she isn't tired. But then regardless she wakes up around 9/10am, so it's nice if you fancy a lie in, or want to get up earlier and get stuff done (dishes/clean bathroom etc)

Not sure how she will cope when she starts school hah :rotfl:

As a matter of interest, how old were little ones before you had them in a bed and without a gate, i.e. theoretically they'd be capable of getting up in the night and running amok? Did anyone have trouble with that? We are unsure about getting babygate or not at the mo.

bruno we didnt have a gate for zoe but we did put her toy box in front of her door (distraction) .. put i think she was just about 2 when we stop do that .. not much help sorry x

we're good. trying to think what to get him for his birthday, he's figured out now that if he presses a button a light flashes or plays a tune. He always has a big smile on his face when he does it and turns to you so you can see what he has done. so i have seen a vtech baaby laptop that i may get him and when i was in asda earlier i spotted this activity cube that also can be spread out on the floor to be a play mat. looked brill so we may get that too. it does say 18months but i think i will get it as nothing looked too hard to do

we think he's trying to say 'grandad' as goes ....'angdadddd' or 'dadddd' so we are taking 'angdadddd' as grandad and DH says he said daddy last night. he does say 'mummm' though too.

I only ever had a gate on the kitchen and that was to stop her toddling in when I was cooking.

Do you have stairs Bruno? I think my mum kept the stairgate on the top of the stairs at hers until my sister was around 3, but that was just so she didn't fall down the stairs at night if she got up. But not on her bedroom door, because she'd need the loo at somepoint

Having a poo day today.

DH has started weekend shifts so is working for 10 hours today and tomorrow.

Its the first time i have ever been with Lily alone for more than 4 hours and she's not feeling to good. I dont know if its teething, but she isn't eating much and wont sleep properly.

She's napping now, but it took an effort to get her to nap.

How is everyone else?

((hugs)) ea i know those days .. jaydens been in extreme mood swings all day mainly crying at random things but for a good 15mins at a time .. at least shes napping now x

Bruno, around 4 for DS1 because he was a wanderer, 3 for DS2 because he wasn't.
