Hope the TS guy does his thing well, 3. I can't believe after having the law quoted at her last night she kept on saying she wasn't responsible. Talk about unprofessional and stupid... and was her phrasing "you won't be getting a refund out of me" or "from me"?! As though you're trying to scam her :rotfl:
I can see why she's upset because in effect she's been stung too but she is legally responsible to 3 and if she is not entitled to recompense from further down the line (i.e. the people who were actually running the camp) then that is her fault for not having made appropriate arrangements and should not impact on the refund 3 is entitled to.

It's just sloping shoulders basically, Susan; she's 'running a company' and unwisely mixed in friendship with business with these other people - she should be well aware that she took the liability on as well as being a payment courier....

Toddler bed built :) am very pleased with it and E looooves it too so that's good. We shall see how well he handles sleeping in it, of course  And I am majestically ignoring the fact that the duvet and pillow set that came with has some significant pinkness.

ETA Also no baby gate as yet. Can close the door and he can't open it, but it's very noisy to fully close/re-open.

SS, she's very much an opportunist - anything remotely flesh like (or not) will be investigated by a serious sniffing and pecking at just on the off chance it's booby.

I do understand that she's upset, Susan - she agreed to do something for her friends and is now liable for something they've done to the tune of £1200. That would upset me too, but rather than blaming my friends' victim I'd be trying to get the money back from them.

PP1 whereabouts in Liverpool are you staying? There are some really nice places in Chinatown, but if you're at the other end of town it's a bit far.

I would recommend the Shangri-La on Victoria St if you're nearby, the Tai Pan slightly out of town (it's above a Chinese supermarket on the way towards Bootle and looks godawful but the food is amazing) and in Chinatown ... I need to think of the name give me a minute or two ... got it the Mayflower on Duke Street.

Gutted I missed out on 25p rooms on the travelodge sale, can't find any, might go and book a £12.50 one for the next few weeks and take Keira down to Edinburgh Zoo for the day :D Think there is one around the 23rd of Sep. Can't complain at £12.50, though I'd much rather of paid 25pence :rotfl:

Just going to go read back :D

    Hi everyone

Having trouble keeping up lately, but I can see there is much non-development of your case 3!! I strongly agree with everyone else, it is R who owes you the money and you should definitely go small claims:)

I am going to see if we can get back to Alton Towers, somehow, as the kids loved it so much, it is all they have talked about:) They keep mentioning rides that they want to go on/go back on.....

Oh yeah, I have closed my fb account so if I have vanished that's why. it's not personal;)

Good luck with the bed tonight Bruno:D

    xx
