MFD I totally agree. The way he just snapped at me I wasnt going to mention it again anyway TBH. I figure he hasnt got a lot of hair cos he's only got a little head so it wont take long, and its better than when OH did it last time and he was chasing him up and down the living room snipping off the odd curl here and there til it looked reasonably even!
We have a walk in hairdressers called Supercuts here, wouldnt go there for my own haircut :o but I'd assume they get lots of kids in there cos of its walk in nature IYSWIM? Meh. All I know is my boy is currently a massive scruff and needs sorting :rotfl:

LOL - nope! Docs app was a rouse (sp?) to get me out of work extra early!

One of my mummy friends is though, only 18 days left til her EDD :T:T

I have told her that it needs to be before I go on holiday or after I come back :D

That sounds like here - one of my friends is due a week today and I've told her that she needs to pop before I go on holiday, otherwise I won't get to see her and the new baby until the end of September. I want newborn cuddles!!!

    Congratulations Susan - brilliant news!

Well done to V and Benjamin for winning the Stokke competition.

Tigs - sorry I missed sending Andrew birthday wishes for yesterday, so Happy Belated Birthday Andrew!

3 - hope your girl flu is getting better

MFD - sorry to hear abou the job :-(. Lovely photo of you and Benjamin. I know I'm supposed to be looking at his boots, but I love his shirt.

Krystal - Caitlin doesn't have any wellies either. I'm glad she's not the only one with little feet. She's only just fitting into size 3s but she has to wear socks with them, otherwise they fall off!

GISI - I was reading that thread last week whilst C was ill and asleep on me. It's made get my Xmas and birthday present books out and sort through what I've got/what I still need to get.

Em - Caitlin had her first haircut a couple of weeks ago. She wasn't keen on sitting in the chair by herself, so she just sat on my lap and it was fine. If she moved her head and wouldn't turn it back, the hairdresser just did another bit and went back to the original bit. All in all though, it didn't take much more than 5 minutes (and cost £5).

Glam - are you moving? Have I missed some gossip?

I've only read back a few pages so don't know who asked about food bills, but ours is around £50 a week. However, that doesn't include any meat except chicken, bacon and ham (for sandwiches, not gammon) as we get that from a butcher. It sometimes includes wipes and nappies, plus the odd bits of clothing for C that happen to "fall" into the trolley, but I tend to stock up on wipes and nappies whenever and wherever they are on offer, so they're usually not on our regular supermarket bill.

Pinkpig - Caitlin had a reaction to her MMR, but it was different to Caitlyn's. Her sleep hasn't been disturbed (in fact, she's been sleeping longer in the day time than she has for months - over three hours on Monday, when usually it's 45 minutes max) but she's had the fever, a rash and has been off her food.

Ignore my question in my long post, since you've just answered it!

No-one still knows (we're not real, remember ;)).

Are both you and OH looking for jobs? Does this mean you'll be far enough away that BIL won't be coming?!?

Our food bill is between £50-£60 a week.

I want to make it smaller, but DH will only eat certain things so i can never batch cook. And he only will eat Dolmio, he has tried home made sauce and he hated it.

I made Enchiladas from sratch the other day, he hated them. BUt to be honest they actually were disgusting. I got the recipe from someone on yahoo answers :rotfl:

We were on £100/month challenge using a lot of weezlie's recipes. Have lapsed the past couple months with holidays and all, but money will v tight next month so back to being strict. With Finn eating more and preferring lots of fresh fruit/veg, it will be even more of a challenge! But helped by not needing £20/month in cat food...
