Hockey pucks? But I love those clams and they look like they'd feel nice in your hand.
Hugs, Michelle, I'm so sorry for your loss. That's a lovely photo.
My grandmother died when I was pregnant, I miss her so much.
Hugs and Lemsip to you, 3, I'm sorry you're still rotten.
Enjoy your holiday Maz
Mel, I would probably add rosemary and thyme to the beef stew - or else a bunch of chilli
Bruno my closest link to Sigmund Freud was the Freud Museum :rotfl:
Sounds like a lovely time Ladybird, sorry Izzy wasn't well. BTW, you're a dressmakey type of person aren't you? Do you take commissions?
Sami, I'm glad Chris enjoyed nursery. I see a lot of parents taking their kids to the nursery at the large office across the road from me and they all seem to be ridiculously well dressed. If I knew my kid was going to be playing with paint she'd be in the rattiest clothes I could find!

SJ - I like van driving too lol, in fact when we move and hire them me and OH squabble like kids its sad eh!
Food bills we average around £60 a week I could easily cut that down if I batch cooked but I dont have the freeezer space and OH is a fussy so and so. Am def gonna need to cut back when I go back to work tho as money will be tight as our IVA will no longer be suspended. I find if I do an online order I spend less as I can see the money mounting up and so cut back on luxuries but at the same time get more offers, so even with the £4 odd delivery charge its bore money saving.
SJ - thanks for the steamer recomendation, were going to Kingston today and they have a Lakeland so will have a look.
michelle - sorry to here about your grandad x
OH wants to get Tahlie this as he just sold his snooker cue and wants to treat her, does anyone else have it? how do you customise the name as Tahlie is unusual do you pick from a list?Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning everyone,
Katie woke me up by poking me with the remote control at 7am, I got an extra hour whilst she watched Milkshake on C5.
Chilli in the slow cooker for tea later
(Mel, it's got ground ginger, cinnamon, ground allspice and ground nutmeg, with a bit of cider)
Plans for today, pay mortgage arrears at bank - missed a month with swapping accounts. Food shopping, I'm doing quite a few of Weezls receipes this week too, mainly to use up what I have so should be a cheap week. Needs to be cheap I have £300 car tax at the end of the month (2 cars), an MOT and Service and a weekend away coming up!
Bruno - I have always loved looking at and buying stuff for my kitchen - but because it is the size of a sardine can I don't have room for half the stuff I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need
Proud to be dealing with my debts
DD Katie born April 2007!

3, that sounds miserable
you poor thing. It doesn't sound like it's showing any signs of improving, are you sure it's "just" cold/flu?
Apparently there is a nasty cold/flu doing the rounds, but my throat is also infected so I've got anti-biotics. Only started them last night so hoping they have some effect soon.
We have a bounce and spin zebra - but it lives at MIL's house. V plays with it most weeks when she's there.
MFD - has your prize arrived. Our's has just got here.
Som we also have a my pal Violet. You can check online if your name is included. I know Edgar was, but Fergus wasn't. I will go and investigate.
Tahlie isn't on the list, but lots of similar sounding names are (?). It says, if your childs name isn't found
"You can browse the list for another name that sounds like your child's name, but is spelled differently. Then change the spelling entered in the 'Spelling' box to match the spelling of your child's name. You can also choose a nickname instead. Once you have completed this you can then upload the name/nickname to the Scout or Violet.
If you would like to suggest we add a new name to our list, you can send that suggestion to us on by clicking the "send us a name for future consideration" link on the My Name page within the LeapFrog Connect application.":beer:0 -

Just a thought but are the hot lemon's sugar free?...
I however, have woke up every hour sweating/shivering/hurting and now tummy ache, probably from my diet of Beechams hot lemon.
OH didn't get in from work til just before 5 so I have no idea what time he'll be up to help.
The sweetener often used in drinks is actually toxic in high doses and some people are more sensitive to it than others. I'm one of the sensitive ones, it makes me feel awful and the affects I get are sort of flu like mixed with a dash of hangover - feeling wobbly, fuzzy/dizzy, weak/tired. Maybe do what I do and make your own hot lemon and adding some dispersible asprin/paracetamol, I get THESE for hubby to take to work when he's got a sore throat.
Mel - I'd chuck some Worcestershire sauce in something beefy to add flavour, although I think the problem might be that it was in the slow cooker, I find that flavours just don't develop enough in them
