We did, though I am now completely worn out! It's been quite emotional, looking back at photos, receiving everybody's good wishes, remembering what we've been through :o

Gill, Andrew had a week of waking up around 9pm crying for no apparent reason (bad dreams?) He'd settle quickly again afterwards. ...... Did you make it to TC today, you mentioned going - we were there mid-afternoon.

Glam, my CV was two pages. And obviously worked :j I start Monday :j

I've had 6 different jobs in the same field in the last 7 years so that's one page! :o I sound like a job hopper but I'm not!
Internal promotion, relocation, temporary contract, job hop, kind of redundant, job hop and now potential relocation.

If J had any hair, he'd have been by now! My hairdresser says its fine to cut hair before they are 1 despite what people think. :)

Where does the time go?

MFD - just out of interest, how many pages is your CV?

Just updating mine and worried its too long but doesn't really say what I want it to!

    2 pages....albeit with very narrow margins :rotfl::rotfl:

It is a different format to a usual CV, more skills based. I think it is interesting, PM me your email address if you want me to send you a copy (I think I have foisted it on half of the PT before!)

My assistant has used the same format and she is getting positive feedback from it.

Are you kidding? El has been having hers cut by my hairdresser every 8 weeks since she was about 5 months! (it was much easier when she was 5 months, she used to sleep through it!)

Yes I did but I shamefully drove instead of walking (It's a 25 min walk but I need the exercise!) We got there at about 3.30 and stayed till 4.45. I've been in a stressy mood all day and got irrationally annoyed at all the slow walking people getting in my way!

I'm officially going crazy....I tried on some dresses in Debenhams and then couldn't find my socks when I got dressed again. I looked everywhere, turned my bag upside down, crawled around the floor, looked outside the changing room, texted DH to tell him (!), I put my shoes on without them and then pulled up the hood of the pram and there they were :o

When I said 'I am going to cut it' I certainly didn't mean that I would go anywhere near my baby's head with a pair of scissors

Everyone I've mentioned it to IRL has said its silly to take them to a proper hairdresser and a waste of money so we should just do it ourselves! But I've never been keen on doing it in case we mess it up and he looks silly :o

A friend does her baby the same age as S with clippers on the longest setting once a month, it always looks nice and tidy but I always feel sad cos its not baby-like IYSWIM!

4 hourly bottles seems quite frequent. Does he drain the bottles?
If he does, then I would probably give bigger bottles and try to get him to go longer between. Before he went to creche, J was having one at 7am, then 3pm and then 7pm. He wasn't waking for a bottle in the night then. *rollseyes*

We have Tooth Number 4 on the way (top right) - like buses these teeth :rotfl:

yes bottles are drained. Will make bigger ones from tomorrow. and see how we get on.
    Ah - I see!

TBH, I would work on 1 bottle at a time. 'They' say they should get most of their nutrients from milk until 1 so try not to worry too much, especially not if DH was the same.

If it is the night bottle that is the main one that you want to kick I would concentrate on that one to start with.

    Just my two-pennorth!

ps - Benjamin still has at least 21oz a day, without even thinking about what he has in food :o

thanks MFD- always the voice of reason :)

right...this has changed so much today....
    from tomorrow..

bigger bottles to see if he will go longer between feeds. this may in turn lead to the night bottle stopping. :D

I had sad news today - My friends sister has a stillbirth :( made me cry and hold LO very tightly for a long time.

Glam - try as hard as possible to keep it to two pages! Its a top tip!

Off on my girls spa weekend (well night) tomorrow. I'm very excited and can't wait.

Susan - congratulation on your official pregnancy. I think Alice will make a fabulous big sister.

I'm shattered so off to bed. Today we mainly did glueing sticking and painting - thankfully at someone elses house!!! night x
