  • Hi Bekki - nice avvy!! Another little blondie!!

I picked up my bargain Trunki from Sainsburys today but we have decided to put it away for Christmas and fill it with little toys for Benjamin :D

I also picked up some bargain wellies - little green ones for £1.50 :D

Then I spotted the Thomas wellies for 8 quid and accidently bought a pair of those in the next size up too :o

They had some really cute dinosaur ones with a matching anorak too...I resisted temptation...for now!!

Benjamin walks like a farmer in his - I thought he might insist on going in the bath with them on :rotfl:

    Which trunki is it Mfd?

Aimee insisted on going to bed in her wellies more than once... They made a slopping noise when we took them off after she was asleep lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Jillie - If its any good, as a guide Jack has 8ozs at bedtime, then usually 7ozs sometime in the night and then about 6ozs in the morning. So approx 20ozs a day - sometimes he just has 16ozs if he skips the morning or night bottle.
Occasionally, like today, he has 3ozs at creche but he has formula there. He's been on cows milk at home for about the last 5 weeks. He tends to have one meal a day that he doesn't eat all of.
I personally wouldn't water formula down, if he won't drink water from his sippy cup but will from his bottle just use that until be gets used to drinking water instead of milk. Then work on getting him to have it from the sippy cup. I also wouldn't split his night time bottles into 2 x 3ozs because then he might start waking up more often for smaller bottles.

If he's due a bottle at 10pm, when was his last one?

    thanks Glam :)
    he had 5oz at 6pm.
he usually has a bottle every 4 hours or so. but they are 5oz at a time.
maybe i need to stretch out the times between his bottles and maybe make them to 6 or 7oz. So he goes longer??

Am getting more and more confused about whats best to do. Maybe I'm trying to change too much at one time

wish DH would have a bit more input!! He just says 'upto you Jillie as you are with him more thane me'

So the Chavs are out with their gazebo - ON THE FRONT!!! like the !!!!!!! chav moron scab !!!!!! that they are, with their music SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loud!:mad: I raged for 2 hours before i finally went out to a crowd of 20 people and asked them to turn it down. "Can you turn that down now it's 9pm i've got two young kids... you're taking the mick"

    So they did...........

But not by enough and it is still making me seethe.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

It's SO intimidating going out there to that amount of Chavs, i fking hate feeling like this ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Tomorrow i think i'll go and catch them with less Chavettes in tow and tell them i am going to re-open the complaint as that's 3 times in 2 days i've had to ask them now so it is quite clear that they don't give a fook...... Although when i ask they do turn it down so HOW THICK ARE THEY?????!!! You've been told enough times to have LEARNED HOW LOUD TOO LOUD IS YOU BRAINLESS B@STARDS!!!!!!!!!

Jillie, S gradually weaned himself off his bottles, he now has one first thing, one before his nap and one before bed. Is it that you're worried he isnt eating enough? Could you try keeping him awake for longer between nap times so he doesnt notice he's getting hungry cos he's too busy sleeping perhaps?
S doesnt really eat lunch still at 18 months - he eats a quarter of a sandwich and a yogurt most days, if that much! He fills his boots with breakfast and dinner, and where he usually has his (still epicly long :D) 2-3 hour nap around 11am he is usually full from his bottle. It doesnt bother me, if he's happy I'm happy :o
