You liked the car then? What colour did you get?
The (lack of) handbrake takes a bit of getting used too - but after 3+ years i've got the hang of it now.

Yes, it felt very good. It's silver :D WAs thinking blue to match Lucy's car, but nah. Have cleared out the second garage so I can park somewhere too. Don't want to leave it in the drive or on the road.

Yes, was very strange the handbrake being a button on the dashboard :o Will take some getting used too.

Motm - yeay for new car :)

 We're going shopping tomorrow once I have the car and we'll drive. 4 will come with me and the other 3 will come back with me (Lucy obviously driving her car so we can all go)

Then at some point I have to give Lucy a go - as a passenger and let her drive it :rotfl:

Right, must go. I'm enjoying my lazy nights on the sofa with Lucy falling asleep on me :rotfl:

    Have a good evening all.

Yay on the new car MOTM......whenever I type that I think of Man of the Match!!!!

On the subject of shopping, I did my weekly shop and it cost a fortune this week! Granted I had to get both sizes of nappies and baby wipes, and formula as well as washing powder and dishwasher tabs!!! But I did wonder how much your shopping must come to each week? Tell me to booger off if you want as I am a nosy bint;)

So I have the same car as 3 and you have the same range car as Lucy.....small world. I don't know what Astra she has exactly, but an Astra is an Astra....right? ;)

Don't work too hard SJ

Ooooh, Lucy has chocolates out for us. Box of about 20 and she knows I can't eat much chocolate. Sneaky :rotfl:

Pretty good really. Have very low level nausea most of the time but at such a low level that I don't generally notice it unless I think about it. Whenever I notice it getting worse, I eat something and that seems to be helping. It's worst in the morning so OH brings me a drink before I get up and then I have breakfast in two stages because I can't eat it all in one go. It seems miraculous to me that I'm actually well enough to do things like go shopping and do the cooking.

A million zillion times better. Well probably about fifty times better really but it's a huge difference. :D

Mel I have a budget of £70 a week for the 3 of us, which has to cover washing powder, dishwasher tablets and pet food too.

I split my shop between Aldi and either Morrisons or Sainsburys, depending on whether I can be bothered to drive to the next town for Morrisons.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
