Ah that is about what I imagined:)
I spent £120 this week, yes it has gone up because of extra nappies and formula. I usually try and stick to £100pw, that is for all 6 of us and cat and BIG dog, plus all toiletries/household stuff....I was thinking even that is too much but I can't see me being able to knock more than a tenner off at mostUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Oh good, i'm not abnormal (in that way at least).
£120 is fair enough considering the new arrival. Things cost and i'm sure you budget as best you can, but it becomes more of a chore when you have a newborn as they take up alot of your time and when you are tired, looking for that extra few quid off takes more effort.
Off for choccies and sleeping beauty.0 -
That's great news Susan. Here's hoping for a much easier ride for you this time

Well my baby is now sleeping, or at least quiet. I went back up and he'd been sick
Not sure if it was anything to do with the massive mouthful of bathwater he'd swallowed. He was lying flat on his back splashing about then decided to laugh and almost roll over, taking in a mouthful as he went. He didn't cough or splutter and I could hear him gulp it down. Oh well, he's ok now.
Right well I am off to bake and I won;t be back until I'm done (or at least until the cakes are in the oven lol)0 -
brilliant pic Mel!!!
I spend £110 a weeks on shopping but do try to do it once a fortnight now as its too stressful and that way i make sure things are used up and nothing is wasted. I did bulk buy on nappies and wipes so wont have to buy until christmas lol! so that leaves a little extra for goodies and treats.
I dont think your weekly spend is too bad MOTM as a few of your girls are older so i guess they eat 'adult' sized portions. I do find spending money at the butchers is worth while as it lasts longer/doesnt shrink/tastes amazing compared to supermarket meats? I have also been offered a whole Lamb from a nearby farm very cheap so i think i will need to clear the freezer out and eat lamb for a good few months lol!!!What's for you won't go past you0 -
fantastic news Susan

Kian gone off to bed not had any tea as he refused the spoon and wouldnt eat any pasta either. Due a bottle around 10ish. he's had 19oz since 4am which is less than usual. not sure whether to give him a bottle if he wakes or try and settle him.with no bottle if he wakes again or gve him say 3oz then keeping 3oz for later.
