  • It's takes less than 2 minutes, my hairdresser includes it in the cost of my hair cut (£12, cut, blow dry and straighten) I wash it myself just before she arrives.

Millie's Mum I was just thinking about you. I was wondering if you fancied doing somehting tomorrow night as I am baby-free, and you have OH to stay with yours, but then I figured you haven't seen him for a week so maybe you' prefer to do that!

Do what , all I usually do when he is home is sleep!

Sounds lush but tbh I don't know what time he will get back at, it was after 9 last week and Grandma is having Millie in the day so not likely to want to babysit til he shows up

We should go out tho, maybe a weeknight, i can get my neighbour to babysit (lets face it she owes me a favour!) and your OH is good for weeknights isn't he?

(I'm sorry but I think our lemur is being christened Alfie)

Em I have no tips, Ello usually sits on my knee and spends the whole time trying to get her fingers between the blades (but a mobile hairdresser is a good idea)
    MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £58774
  • I daren't even attempt to take Katie to a proper salon yet, considering her reaction to hand dryers, she can cope with a single hair dryer and likes playing with mine but I think a salon full of hair dryers would just send her over the edge.

Aww that's sweet, Alfie the lemur!

Yes, any night is good for me really, I reckon I'm owed a night out or 2 for the amount DH gets  And Mum is always happy to babysit in the even DH is doing anything so just let me knwo when is good for you. You can wear your LK Bennet (?) shoes and I will pretend not to notice the burn ;)
