Oh bless her...now do you make her eat the bread or give up and leaver her to it?

Personally, being a victorian mum I would be at least trying to get Benjamin to eat the bread!
Well being a slack mum... It's on a plate here and she's helping herself and wandering around with it... Only because I'm just not in the mood today... If she'd have been sat in the high chair she would have probably eaten a good chunk of it...

TBH though, I think they all go through a phase of not eating bread, I know Aimee did... And it's not the end of the world... The filling is the healthy bit... (unless it's a jam butty...) I just used to give Aimee a bowl full of what I would put in a sandwich and a piece of bread and butter on the side as an extra... Even now she has her cucumber on the side rather than on the sandwich...

3, You keep thinking those happy thoughts... ;)

Buttoms, shame about the job... But would you want to work for someone who does the "thanks but no thanks" via facebook anyway? :)

So how's things with everyone? Have been a bit busy lately, mostly with work, as much as it winds me up at times I had the best mid-term appraisal in the 10yrs I've been there :D I got a bar of chocolate and vouchers of my choice to thank me for all the hard work I've put in since I came off Mat leave. Apparently I am way ahead of other team members who have been using the new system for 9months more than me.
So I am now on course to a "Superior" for my end of year, so I now have to go above and beyond my normal job?! But if I get it I'll end up with a better bonus and payrise next year.

  • Okay - I am officially so sad as to not being able to write a letter without your approval now :o What do you think?

    Dear Sirs,

On 30 July 2010 I was interviewed by xxxxxx of xxxxxx for the position of xxxxxx Manager within your organisation. I have today been informed by xxxx that is unlikely that I will be put forward for interview for this position because of my lack of direct xxxxxx experience. I am extremely disappointed in this decision and as such I have decided to make this somewhat unorthodox approach to your company directly.
Whilst I appreciate that a lack of direct xxxxx experience may at first seem to preclude me from such a position I truly believe that I can offer your company a different, refreshing and unprejudiced approach to this position which will help your company to stand out from competitors. I live locally to your main offices and my research on your company over the last two weeks has convinced me beyond doubt that xxxx offer an environment in which I could thrive and achieve excellent results for the benefit of the entire group.

Continue with a load of who I am, what I do type crap...

    And to finish:

If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope that this application is received in the nature it is intended – as a firm indication of my desire to work for your company – and I would relish the opportunity to be able to speak to you directly about this position.
    Yours faithfully,
    MFD

I would maybe just put "you" where I've highlighted red as there seemed to be a lot of "your company"s in one place... But yeah, it's good :)

xmaslolly had her baby girl this morning... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=35784565&postcount=170

And I just had THE worst nappy ever of Caitlyn, it smelt very bad and was green and sticky... Not really helped my upset stomach any!

She is currently enjoying drinking moo milk from a doidy cup though, she got very excited about it...

No I wouldn't Krystal but then the £8.50 an hour he was paying may of made up for that!

It's cool, I'm sending unsuccessful buisness vibes his way.

How's baby bump 3 going Krystal? Sickness passed yet? I hated that, the nausea is the worst, didn't mind actually barfing as that relieved the nausea for a bit but bleugh! I feel for ya

Sickness has started to pass, more good days than bad... But in true style today I was on the phone to my nana telling her how I was feeling better when all of a sudden my mouth started watering and my stomach was cramping... Couldn't get her off the phone quick enough!!! Think I've got a stomach upset though, been a bit dodgy a couple of days now... A handfull of mars planets made me feel a bit better...

£8.50ph is good for shop work... Damn him and his poor employing judgement...

Maybe you had too many buttons done up on your blouse when you went for the interview... :p

The whole interview was a shambles. I didn't take my coat off because A) There was NOWHERE to sit and B) He stood up the whole time and there was nowhere to put my coat, except on a pile of dust and wood shavings. It was quite intimidating really. I thought the interview went quite well considering, his message on FB said it was because he decided to take on one full time person rather than 2 PT people. I couldn't do FT with Keira, I could of done 30 hours at a push.

    Ey ho, his loss :p

Mars planets or any chocolate is a good fix I find. Or a nice bag of crisps! At least it's passing now though, how many weeks are you now? I had hypermesis barfing until about 7 months pregnant. That wasn't very fun if I remember correctly.

Had any cravings? It was cat food I lusted after!

    Cat food? You're a classy bird :p

13 weeks yesterday... Craved satsumas quite a bit but that's calmed down now... More food aversions than food cravings... The thought of eating most things just turns my stomach...

Oh great, Aimee just found half a dead bird under the chair... Bloody cats!
