Hi lurking Bekki and any other lurkers.
V climbing out of her cot last night wasn't a one off! She did it tonight as soon as I put her down, then another three times to show me how it's done!
I'm upstairs now, on my phone, ignoring her crying at the safety gate on the bedroom door! What do I do to get her to stay in/sleep?
Hi there 3 - I have to confess at laughing at your video on FB!
have your tried V in a sleepingbag? It would mean she couldn't lift her leg high enough to climb out? (that is if she'll keep one on - annabel takes hers off when she feels like it).
or - have you a travel cot? they are ahrder to climb out of........

3 - that video is definitely one for the future husband when she is older.
Benjamin's cot isn't even on the lowest setting yethe rarely shows any inclination to even stand up...although sometimes I catch him looking out of the window!

Can't remember who it was but the naughty step always worked here, in fact Millie still sends grandad to sit on it when he's naughty and he's 70!

I think boys are less inclined to escape from the place where they get food.
I'm relieved for you, MM. It must have been a horrible burden knowing you had to tell them tomorrow. Gotta love facebook though!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
It's not bad MM, it's understandable. I wonder if the daughter will be in trouble for posting about the hol on FB?
Great news Elle.
I am planning on having a naughty step in our house. Maybe I'll practice by sending DH to it when he pees me off lol0 -

Why don't you post? I am always amazed at lurkers! How the hell do you keep your trap shut?
Are you anywhere near to the Monkey Forest on 29 September?
Im quite shy and I find it hard to just jump into the conversations.
Would like to, little man would love it, ive not took him there yet0 -
Cyi can climb out of his playpen and cot, I now let him go sleep on my bed and then move him when hes asleep.
When he climbed out of his cot he flipped and landed on my head whilst I was asleep as it was right next to my bed, im trying to finish his room off (just moved in) and have already bought him a bed, and will just put a stair gate on his door.
He wasnt so lucky when he fell out of his playpen though he went head first on to the concrete floor and ended up in A&E (he was fine just a grazed head)
and he hasn't ate in his high chair since he turned 1 as he can climb out no matter how tight the straps are!0
