MFD, ah I get it now - it was the rec con that didn't put your CV forward, not the company that rejected it
. Well, in that case I would definitely do what the others suggested - your lucky you found out the company name so that you could do that! If they hire you, they'll still have to pay the finder's fee but that's no skin off your nose
.
Speaking of, I found a job on a job site which sounds good & I'd be qualified for as far as I can tell...I applied directly on the job site and didn't hear anything, so I went to the recruitment agency's website and did a generic CV submission to see if they'd match me up with the job. They came back and said they had nothing suitable! HMPH, funny since I already found one
.
Finding a (new) decent part-time job is HARD. If I see any public sector jobs from now on, I'm going to apply on basis of job share as private sector wants to pay about £3/hr less than I what I make now *rolleyes*.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Oh bless her...now do you make her eat the bread or give up and leaver her to it?
Personally, being a victorian mum I would be at least trying to get Benjamin to eat the bread!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

I didn't get that job
The lousy douche sent me a message on FB to tell me that he was taking on someone full time and thanks for coming in for the interview.
ON EFFING FB!
I must be so worthy.0 -
BM don't reply to it, if you do he can see your profile for 30 days. Which might be why he's doing it by FB rather than email.
Or he could just be a muppet.
Either way, bad luck

Salesshopper - we had drama's over the shoe dolls a couple of years ago. We lost an arm! L must have been in reception or year one, and the school banned the dolls/cars from coming to school because there was so much bother over children losing them/mixing them up.
Anyhows, to my point! [STRIKE]I[/STRIKE] L emailed Clarkes asking if there was a doll hospital where she could get a new arm from, and they sent her a lovely letter and a whole set of dolls. :T
MFD I'd do option A (like everyone else!). It shows your keen and your covering letter and cv will show them you're also perfect for them.
I've just ordered a toddler bed, mattress, bedding etc to be delivered tomorrow. I hope she's so excited by it she stays in it.:beer:0
