Thanks Aless and 3 - I'll look out for one of those buggy bags when shes not as reclined. Overall I'm very impressed with it. I was a bit worried about her going forward facing as she's still so small but she loves being able to see where shes going!
I've got a baby that doesn't want to stay asleep this evening. She falls asleep easily but then wakes up 10 mins later. We've been playing classical music on the ipod to her which seems to help, until it gets to one particular piece that I played alot myself on the piano whilst I was pregnant. When she hears it shes wide awake and smiling!0 -

Glam - what a day! Hope OH was waiting with dinner and a glass of wine for you when you got in.
I don't know what is going on with Benjamin at the moment but he is SO tired. I had to put him down just after 6.30pm again tonightIt is getting silly, he slept for 3 hours this afternoon too.
Hoping that it is just a growth spurt and he stops being so tired soon.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Gym - he's tall and solid. He weighed 14lb 6oz 2 weeks ago so I would imagine he's over the 15lb mark now, he seems to get longer every day! He was wearing a pair of full length 0-3 dungarees the other day which fit fine on the body but looked like shorts! I have posted piccies before but probably not when you've been around. Here's a couple of recent ones just for you
and a good excuse to show my boy off lol
The main reason for the size 4 nappies is that they're the only ones that can contain his poos lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Gahhh. There's a pile of stuff on the floor of the office. It belongs to Husband, and I've asked him to put it all away about seven times in the last nine days, which is how long it's been there. Molly is now playing with it, and since I've spent ages trying to teach her that stuff on the floor is for Molly and stuff on the shelves is not for Molly. I'm not about to confuse the issue by taking it off her, so now I have to do emergency distraction and triage the stuff as best I can.
Vintage magazines ... off the floor. Old playing cards ... Molly can have them.
I would have left Molly playing with the magazines and then when Husband said somethng said 'thats why i told you to put them away' Can i shake your husband to knock some sense into him please???musogirl295 wrote: »Red -got the coat from Mothercare. How old were your babies when they moved into 3-6 months clothes?
H is the only baby in my mum and baby group who's still in 0-3 and they're all the same age. We can still squeeze her into large newborn stuff too!
Kian wears a mix match. some jeans are 3-9 months and fit him perfect in the waist. some 9-12 months top fit perfect and other clotes just are far too big.
Boo and the gorgeous Isla were in my shop today. got the most gorgeous big smile when she saw me (isla and from mummy too) Isla was jumping up and down in her sling.
sooo cute'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
EA - it sounds as though Lily is just going to be thin. Are you getting dirty and wet nappies? If you are the I wouldn't worry about.
Gym, The puking thing is recent(ish) she used to be sick when younger, but stopped. And now its pretty much after every bottle. I've got good at aiming at her nowSarah_Joanne wrote: »I had to fish risotto out from his nostril earlier!
Lily currently has carrot up her nose, but i cant get my chunky fingers up to get it out.
I hate having to get puree out of her eye lashes, its sooo awkward. :rotfl:kindofagilr wrote: »
Awww (((hugs))) EA when are you due back to get her weighed? Ive no idea lol cos obv I am new too lol but do you have your HVs number? You could call her tomorrow if your worried?
I was asked to go back on Monday to get her weighed, so its been two weeks since last time.
I dont know if my HV is the same one as i've moved into a different area.EA is she skinnier cause she grew taller? I find Molly grows like a caterpillar - she gets a bit tubbier then goes longer.
Yes, as she's got taller she's getting very skinny. You can see her ribs when she breathes in, but its the same with DH.
Im proud of myself, i sorted out most of my stuff that is currently in the spare room ready for it to be decorated and turned into my study
Our new sofa, and chest of draws set is coming tomorrow. We got £650 of our deposit back and spent it within an hour,0 -
