Bruno - I took ibuprofen for my spd when I needed it. If you've not got a tame doctor around to give her permission, then I'm sure a couple tonight won't hurt. If she is getting achey often it is probably worth going to the doctor though, as she can get a referral to phiso - a pelvic girdle (which is what I had) or a "sling" to support bump might help her to be more comfy. - Edited to add that the physio would have look at what the problem actually is and see what would help... I'm not giving medical advice at all. ~whistles innocently~

Thanks Glam. He really has taken to it well, he just loves it and I'm amazed that he's actually getting some down too. We're all loving it in this house actually!
Can anyone tell me what that mat thing was called that was reduced from Argos the other week / month? It had grass printed on it. Stupidly I didn't get one at the time and now I'm thinking I NEED one!! Or if not, can anyone suggest a wipable large mat that I can use under the highchair? We have carpet in the dining room and living room and that plus baby eating is not a good combination.
Kindof that stroller looks great. I [strike] want [/strike] need a new pushchair.0 -
SJ - we went to a fabric shop and bought a meter of floral pvc (they sell it for that kind of thing, honest!). I was tempted to buy more and make an ironic frock with it. I don't know if that would work out more expensive than just buying a mat though - I think it was about £5 a meter.

SJ - Morrisons do them - hung up in the baby aisle if I remember correctly - but TBH I found all the wiping really tedious and most of the time the mat was still sticky.
I used a king size duvet cover which I folded into quarters and put under the antilop. It meant that I could pick things up if he dropped them but also meant that I could shake it outside for the birds when he was done and fold it a different way if it was dirty. Then every so often I stuck it in the washing machine
A friend of mine used big square table cloths which she stuck in the wash each day.
I think Susan used an oilskin tablecloth.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
SJ - I bought some of that waterproof table cloth on a roll from the range to put down for painting/messy play etc then it just folds up small out of the way - I think it was £2 ish. Love your new Fb pics

 and _pale_ at your cut finger, Bruno!
:hello: GlamCan you not txt OH's bunch? Or tell him to tell them, then it's his bluntness to blame if he doesn't say it tactfully?
We've been shoe shopping this afternoon. Rhys is a whopping 2FWe have crawlers as Clarks don't do even cruisers in a size 2. Not quite sure what we're going to do when he's actually walking... Clarks smallest walkers are a size 3 and I'm not convinced he's going to have grown that big by the time he's walking!
