    Big hugs for you Caz.

    Mel, how's Mr Mel?

And Bruno, I'm sorry Mrs Bruno's butt is sore :( but it sounds like a good BBQ.

All's improving here, Husband almost wet himself with shock on realising we had no no-alcohol beer left and rousted himself from his sickbed for a supermarket trip so clearly improving :rotfl:

OMG forgot to say......I was in Asda yesterday and some woman was stood next to me as we were getting cakes, she turned to me and rudely said "I take it 4th time was lucky eh?" I was in total shock, how rude to say that to someone....

If we tell IL's over the phone they will interfere, whereas if I send an invitation it's a 'this is where we are go, my family are invited are too, it's my show not yours'

    In that case, I like Sami's idea... it's Jack's show ;)
When and where are you going????
You might get a party invite ;)

 What a cheeky b1tch! I wouldn't have been able to think of a good comeback at the time so probably would have said 'Wow, that was rude of you'. I hate rude people with a passion.

Did you poke her in the eye, Mel? I'd probably have told her I was lucky every time and asked whether her parents didn't bother teaching her manners because they were focussed on their favourite kid.

Edit: I thought it was your OH that was also sick?

SJ- my mum suggested using a duvet cover under the highchair, but I picked up a plastic sheet in the 99p shop and use that when I remember!

Kindof- was there a particular reason you wanted a new car seat or just fancied a change? H has just gone into his new one today and I must admit I do like only have to clip him in, not clip the seat into the car every time too.

We're hoping to pick up on of these tomorrow

GISI, we have one from the range which is very similar, was £17.99 but a pine frame with just green and blue boxes. Goes with the other furniture a bit better!! ;)

KOA, they are meant to be kept in rear facing car seats until they are around 9 months old as its much safer for them. "They" actually say to keep them rear facing until their head is taller than the back of the seat. Could you look into one of the seats that fits both rear and forward facing so you get a bit more of your moneys-worth?

SS - I love it:D like glam said I couldn't think of a good comeback at the time so I just stared at her and then walked off......Hopefully she felt stupid enough to realise it was not a great conversation starter;)

When I went to Mothercare she said 'they' say 9 months because in order to sit forward facing they have to be able to sit up properly using their back to support them and not just using their tummy muscles.
Kindof - I got the Britax First Class Plus which is great and had it turned around a month or 2 back.
