Well I'm not happy, just been to Asda and the nappies are still showing as full price and even then they didnt have the size I wanted so that was a wasted journey and I missed casulty for that!!:mad:

Could try another one tomorrow but it doesnt open till 11 and am going to help out in my local tomorrow lunchtime as landlord is shortstaffed ...........well its him and me!! Still extra bit for the holiday fund I guess... just need to go to Boots instead me thinks.

Maz no nappies reduced in my asda today either. Got the car seat for my mum's car though reduced to £15. Didn't have mych else reduced apart from weaning spoons, plates etc

Ahh you gotta love ebay, just checking out the neg feedback left for a seller who i was considering buyikng from, and they have left the following response to a neg: "SAD MAN,U THINK I CARE ABOUT NEG FB ,I DONT,GET OVER IT LOSER ,SO WOT EVER LOL" :rotfl:

gisi - just showed OH the storage unit you posted and were gonna see if we can get one too We dont have a Lidl here but as were off to Blackbushe market theres one just down the road so fab timing.

Kindof - what seat do you have currently, usualy stage 0+ go up to 13kg which is 28lb. The lady at Mothercare probably told you this already but the Tobi isn't suitable till they can sit unaided for min 20 minutes and are over 20lb. But its a good seat and the one we are wanting too, I believe the cappucino colour is currently reduced to £140 from £185 too.

Not many bargains to be had at our asda either, well non that I wanted bar some bibs.

We picked up our Mura its lush and in really good nick A little miffed the tyres were flat when we picked it up so had to go out and buy a pump, and one of the front tyres wont stay up because it has a dodgy valve so will need to replace the innertube. Should I leave neutral feedback as this wasn't stated in the add, otherwise am really happy with it.

Yeah your prob right, we liked the look of the britax first class one but she wasnt sure if it would fit in our car (bravo) so we would have to get them to see if it would fit in our car

We have the one that came with the graco travel system and he can only be in it till he is 9kg which is 20lb and he is 17lb 11oz

Yeah which is why its annoying me in a way lol cos I really liked that car seat but its going to be months before he can sit for 20 mins and therefore he will def BE too heavy for his current car seat

So looks like I wont be able to get the tobi

Can I ask those of you who have slightly older babies who are mobile what you do with them once they're crawling/wriggling about while you cook tea (for example!)?

I'm still debating getting a jumperoo but DH is worried about the space it will take up. The description says that they fold up for storage. Do they fold to a reasonable size so that they're not in the way all the time? Has anyone got a Froggy Entertainer? It's much smaller but has nowhere near as many activites and isn't much cheaper. I just want somewhere I can safely put him for half an hour while I prepare tea.

EA - you got a really good price on your jumperoo. All the ones I've been watching have gone for £50 - £60

Sorry I've not had a proper catch up but we've been out most of the day then I had to prepare for my first mystery shop that I'm doing tomorrow. Lots of hugs for Caz. GISI - I'm very tempted to get one of those units from Lidl as well. Is it a special offer or a line that they always carry?

Gill, there is no way anything contains or enterains D for half an hour . We have baby proofed a large area of our living room that he is safe to be free range in and then I put Cbeebies on and loads of toys scattered all over the floor..... then I get to work in the kitchen ASAP and wonder how many times I will get disturbed before dinner is prepared :rotfl:. I only do this if DH is in work tho cos if he is at home then he looks after D while I cook (or vice versa)

Can anyone tell me what that mat thing was called that was reduced from Argos the other week / month? It had grass printed on it. Stupidly I didn't get one at the time and now I'm thinking I NEED one!! Or if not, can anyone suggest a wipable large mat that I can use under the highchair? We have carpet in the dining room and living room and that plus baby eating is not a good combination.

I'm a bit late now but we just have a fleece blanket under our high chair, think an ikea fleece would do the trick

the fit finder should tell you if the first class is ok in your car Britax - Fit-Finder
I could be wrong (I'm sure som will correct me if I am ) but as I understand it the weight isn't really an issue, as long as they physically fit in the seat its ok.
Fwd facing is really something you want to put off for as long as possible, just think of the forces that cause grown ups to get whiplash and the damage that could do to a baby with weak neck muscles.

Krystal - my mum has treated her darling grandson to the moon dough dog kennel thing, its so weird and cool:cool: Chris skyped everyone he could to show them it lol

We bought the graco carseat from asda so my mum can take both boys if needed (I've always felt a little uneasy about no one having the means to take both safely in an emergency paranoid?), my sis can easily take Chris out when she's home too and also got one for ILs so now Chris can have his pick of chauffeurs

I have been meaning to say those with LOs turning 1 soon, do your bubbas have a bead maze? if not that is a good present idea IMO, I'd forgotten about ours until Ed spotted the one at Alder Hey and loved it, ours is just the ikea one and he plays with it loads at the mo
