On the personal front, I am due to be made redundant some time soon so i'm already looking for another job. Hopefully i'll be able to take voluntarily redundancy and get a nice 'golden goodbye'.
I hope they give you a good pay out considering the way they messed you (and OH) around.

Well either way I find out next friday... On the 13th...

Good job I'm religious and not superstitious lol...

Mooki, Leila obviously takes after her very intelligent parents... Caitlyn has no words... She still calls the cat Tsss... And if I shout Dave she then wonders round going "Daa" in the same tone... She doesn't say Mummy or Aimee... Or no... She understands a bit though... If she follows me to kitchen at dinner time, I say "go and sit down then" and she toddles off into her chair... She can understand "take this to Daddy" and other things... She's incredibly entertaining :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Congratulations by the way Krystal ( I kind of missed the boat on that one but better late than never!!)

I would like to take all the credit for Leila being a clever bunny but I think that I have to give some credit to the childminder too! She does educational type things with Leila all the time and takes her to the library and things. She's still her only child as her son is now at full time pre-school so she gets her full attention.
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j

Thanks all, it was exciting :) very good sonographer, very thorough and explanatory and helpful. We saw lots of stuff very clearly, everything is normal and as it should be, and totally against all our expectations it's a girl :D

Congratulations on your bright baby Mooki and nice to hear from you again :p fingers crossed redundancy turns into a good thing.

Sparkle, what a lot of problems :( sorry to hear and hope things pick up quickly!
  • Wow, congratulations Bruno! I am so pleased to hear that everything is as it should be and how lovely that E will have a little sister!

Mookie- Leila sounds absolutely adorable. Sorry to hear about your job situation, but it's lovely to see you on here.

Sparkle- I am so sorry to hear about OH's grandma.

I meant to say earlier that I love that both Alice and MFD's DSS have been worrying about their lack of driving skill recently. It's just too cute!

How wonderful Bruno - girls are lovely.

    So are boys :)

Leila sounds adorable - should I start being worried that Molly is very verbal but with only a couple of identifiable meaning-sounds?

  • Yay for a girlie Bruno!! I am very jealous now!!

I forgot to say earlier - sorry for your loss Sparkle.

LOL GISI - we were teasing DSS at breakfast about his worry over driving!

Right - can anybody tell me how much a 2nd hand Joolz goes for on ebay? I have just seen an extremely cheap display model and I am mega tempted to bag the bargain, use on hols and then sell on!
