  • Morning/afternoon everyone.
Happy birthday Becles, Molly and (other) Amelie!
Well, Freddie didn't wake up last night!!!! He slept from his last feed at 11pm until my alarm went off this morning at 7.15am - result!
Sounds like a few people are having a rough time of it at the moment, so sending hugs to all who need them!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Kindof, how did you do the squash? I always found the simplest way was to cut them in half, scrape out the seeds, add a knob of butter and then bake for about an hour... The flesh just scrapes straight out of the shell already smooth :D (it also tastes sweet that way)

I cut mine in half and scoop the seeds out, then slice them in slices lol and peel them that way
I just put them in the steamer cos thats what E's book said to do lol

  • Hey Mooki! So lovely to see you xx

Leila sounds fantastic. They certainly keep you busy don't they!

Benjamin too can do body parts...other than elbows - which he points one hand at his hair and one hand at his feet for!! I think he might have the idea that his 2 hands need to point in different directions but he can't quite fathom it :rotfl:

Yay for sentences too! She certainly is a clever girl.

WRT work stuff I am in a similar situation, albeit I have a date (30 September) and I won't get a payout. Fingers crossed that it all works out for us.

My OH would think that if he waited she might stop crying too. I found kicking him till he either objected or got out of bed was quite effective.

I find this extremely wonderful :)

I'm so sorry for your loss, sparkle.

Krystal, twins run in my family too - I was one but the other didn't stick, and my father was/is one too.

Thank you for your lovely birthday wishes, Molly is now happily ignoring her birthday present in favour of throwing a dust bunny around :o

Off to make her a birthday cake - Husband said he'd do it but is mad busy with work so I'm going to find Molly something to eat, make tea and then make cake :D

  • Nothing interesting to report from here. Tooth 9 appeared over the weekend and we seem to have gone back to normal night times, after 2 unsettled nights. I wondering if there are any more teeth there but I'm not sticking my fingers anywhere near to find out.

    Mookie
    - lovely post. I can't believe how much Leila says - she must only be about 6 weeks older than Liam but we only have a dozen or so words and he'd much rather watch Mummy prance about singing head, shoulders, knees & toes than actually join in.

Sorry to hear about your job :( fingers crossed an exciting opportunity is just around the corner for you. Enjoy your me time.
  • Yay for sleeping babies!

    Hope tired mummies get naps!

Hope Mrs Bruno's scan goes well - will you be telling us the flavour Bruno?

We are severely tooth deficient though and still only have 4.5 teeth with the first 4 coming through pretty much all together a few weeks before her first birthday!!
