Leila sounds adorable - should I start being worried that Molly is very verbal but with only a couple of identifiable meaning-sounds?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

What's up with the Oyster? You were so excited about getting one.
It's a number of things that start off as little niggles that eventually become just bloody irritating eventually...
If you have it forward facing then you can't get to the side of the hood to unzip the sunshades... The funny suspension on the front wheels means sometimes when you go down a kerb you end up nearly tipping the pushchair because the wheels fold under themselves... The brakes jamming with sand on holiday seriously p!ssed me off because we spent 2 weeks not able to use it because they didn't work, and we had to wait for the shop to replace them... I just had to get the raincover replaced because D dared to use the velcro straps to hold it down and it completely came apart along both seams... The snack tray doesn't stay clipped in so a big kick from Caitlyn and it flies out... And the hood doesn't hang down neatly which is a really stupid reason but it bugs me so much...
I think it has some good features but they're just not enough to stop me getting annoyed with the crappy parts... I just wish the maclaren rear faced because I do love it... Just like to see my baby...
Still, in a few months I'll be pushing a double.... :eek:A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

We (especially OH) were convinced it was a boy just because I'm one of 3 boys, her dad is one of 3 boys, we've had a boy, my brother's had a boy, her uncle's had a boy... no girls anywhere to be seen til now!Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Oh, did I mention before? E has got very keen on the potty... not in a fully practical sense I hasten to add, but he fully approves of sitting on it, whenever he has a nappy change now he demands to go sit on it before his new nappy comes on, and he has in fact peed in it (just as a consequence of sitting on it nekkid for 5 minutes I think)!
He is sitting on it now in front of the TV...
We sort of thought that acclimating him to it in a low-key no pressure manner from early on might be an ok approach, and by the time baby02 comes we'd be clear on whether he was ready yet and either get it out the way before or wait til well after, rather than wanting to try it out at the same time as we have a newborn.
Dunno if this approach will work but he is enthusiastic so far! But very early days.
Edit: SS I disapprove of your FB friend on principle, as she has the same first and last name as my wife! tsk) As it turned out we PT'd when Edgar was very small, it was very much a non event though and sorted within 7-10days
My best friend found it very hard as her youngest was crawling age when the older one was PT'ing - crawling babies and pottys of wee are a dangerous combo!...
Still no word from the Mura ebay ladyTho I have spied another one now on a buy it now for £135 its only 2 months old and am soooooooooo tempted. Tho its still a second hand pushchair so am in two minds but have kinda got my heart set on one now.
Had to take fur ball to he vets last night as he has had a gammy eye for a week or so now, turns out he has conjuntivitisso that cost us £50! He's a bu99er to get eye drops in tho so am having to get OH to muzzle him using a towel wrappped around his mouth while I put the drops in.
I was a bit snobby about 2nd hand but I forced myself out of it when I spied a £120 buggy for £75 that had only been used for a month, the only evidence it had been used was that the wheels weren't all smooth but they loose that with one or two uses anyway;)
Could you sneak the eye drops in while he's asleep? It worked on Edgar when he was a baby (you know coz babies are just like cats/dogs aren't they)
...
Also, apropos of the discussion last night, Fox News is reporting that Gisele Bundchen breastfed for three weeks and then stopped. So I think we can safely ignore her, yes?Silly cow, I want to slap her with a big slimy fish!
Has anyone mentioned the B'ham meet to xmaslolly? I think she's relatively localMy OH would think that if he waited she might stop crying too. I found kicking him till he either objected or got out of bed was quite effective.just keep giving him a kick/jab to the kidneys/poke to the face until the silly man realises its easier to get up straight away next time:cool:
I'm definitely a fan of the stick not carrot0 -

Its true. Lily is always follwing flys with her head. And if DH taps his foot when Lily is on the floor she leaps on it and starts to play with his foot, when he stops tapping she gets bored. When he starts tapping again she attacks it again.
She also licks things...
Jillie, i looked on ebays help centre but i cant find anything. She's not angry or anything, it was a really nice message. Infact she said she was sad0 -
MFD, the colour seems to make a difference to resell price but this black one sold for £150 a few days ago, x0
