Glad it's working for you FBB, we've given up on it at the minute until these top teeth come through
I use a lot of the tips from it though, especially for daytime naps which she's a lot better with now. I've just been up and taken over, within 8 minutes of being up there she's stopped crying and is sound asleep in her cot. We cosleep 99% of the time but she's so wriggly I'd prefer her to spend the start of the night in the cot then she can stay in with me after her first night feed.
Hows T doing nowadays? I love seeing how the Nov babies have come on
Gill that outfits lovely! I really like Blue Zoo stuff, Isla's had some really nice bits from them. AF isn't as horrendous as I was expecting tbh, just not nice to deal with when you've got so used to not having them. I'm glad it's this week as I'm away next week and it wouldn't have occured to me to pack any necessaries!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Sorry not been around for ages. Gone back to work now and there are just not enough hours in the day.
Thank you for thinking of me though MotM:A glad I've not been forgotten.

I'm debating whether i should get this for him for my cousin's wedding next April (he'll be nearly 12months old)

It would just be £13.20 with discount but I'm not sure if it would be a bit too fancy and perhaps uncomfortable. I think I've seen less fancy cute litte shirt/trousers and waistcoat sets in Asda. It is supercute tho!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Ah hope the top teeth stop causing trouble soon, must be horrible for them when they hurt as I imagine it must be like when I have an ulcer or something and I get real niggly too. Glad Isla is asleep now. Ooh how do u handle the daytime naps? I am not doing very well with those yet and am mostly rocking to sleep still bar the odd time I manage to get him down in his cot which I think is more of a fluke than anything!!
Sorry I meant to say before, boo hiss to AF returning. How many feeds do u do a day now roughly, as mine hasn't come back yet and am wondering if it will now that T is touch wood only having 1 or none a night most of the time. I love hearing about the Nov babies too hehe, T is really good thanks. He is a really smiley little boy, getting much better with his finger foods, he rolls about all over the place and shuffles backwards on his back, but hasn't worked out crawling yet. He was 21 lb 4 at last weigh in but that was maybe a month ago now, am about to move him into the next car seat very soon. He loves our dog too!! How is Isla? Are you going back to work?Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Boogellyboo how was the visit from Isla's cousin? (Sorry I can't remember names
) Much bother with MIL or not too bad?
I had a nightmare with mine yesterday taking food (steak) out of Alfie's mouth cos she was panicking (despite the fact that Alfie, DH and I were all decidedly NOT panicking! And the fact that Alfie cried when she took it off him!) Needless to say Alfie was not sat next to her at dinner tonight!0 -
Question of the night from DSS - 'what does seduce mean?'
:eek::eek::eek:
Look forward to these questions guys! Always have your guard up!
Benjamin was so funny earlier, I was making macaroni cheese for DSS and I gave Benjamin 2 marshmallows, one for him and one for DSS. He put one in his mouth and wandered off to give DSS his...when he got to DSS he took the one out of his mouth and held it out to his brother whilst shoving the other into his mouth at the same time :rotfl::rotfl:
Needless to say he got to eat both!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

SJ Oh no, it's so hard when people [STRIKE]interfere[/STRIKE] try to help when little ones are eating, I am still doing a mixture of purees and finger food and my mum says not to give him finger foods when she is about as she knows she will panic :rotfl: least that's good though as I just do the puree and then the ff after they have gone. Having said all that, I have just thought that I don't mind as it's my mum, not MIL as no doubt it would be a different story fnarr fnarr
MFD Lol at DSS, blimey I'm not looking forward to these type of questions!! BTW U and Sugar have really got me noticing when news reports use different denominators (is that the word?!). I was reading another breastfeeding report and they had done it too, changed from so many out of 10 to so many out of 5 :mad:Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -

Personally although I think it's cute I wouldn't put Alfie in it, as I think it would be a a bit uncomfy. M&S always have nice smarter but not too dressy outfits in.0 -
FBB - she has maybe 6 feeds a day? I'm not too sure really, it's definately dropped off all of a sudden in the last fortnight as eating seems to have really clicked with her now. She was 16lb 8oz today so still a dink but I've taken some piccies today and she's got a right buddha belly on her lol. Isla's got her own version of crawling which is funny to watch, she sticks a leg out sideways to propel herself forwards :rotfl: We're going to look at cruisers at weekend as she doesn't stop circling the front room once she's up.
Daytime naps I give her a feed on the bed then a cuddle and wander off while she's semi awake and she normally goes asleep for an hour plus now. I don't think I'm going back to work, the intention is not to and to do something (anything!) from home but we've just decided we want to buy a house so may need to go back part time for a short period purely for mortgage purposes then leave in a few months. Or I could try to get pregnant and have ML all over again I suppose :rotfl:
SJ it was lovely having Emily over. Their so different to each other, it's unbelievable there's only 10 days between them! They went back home today so it may be a while before we see them again which is a shame
MIL wasn't too bad really, I felt a bit put on the spot a few times but we arranged most meet ups away from there house so didn't have to see them that often. Did you say anything to MIL about taking the food from Alfie? I can offer you a box of rusks to smack her round the head with
