Boogellyboo how was the visit from Isla's cousin? (Sorry I can't remember names :o ) Much bother with MIL or not too bad?

I had a nightmare with mine yesterday taking food (steak) out of Alfie's mouth cos she was panicking (despite the fact that Alfie, DH and I were all decidedly NOT panicking! And the fact that Alfie cried when she took it off him!) Needless to say Alfie was not sat next to her at dinner tonight!
  • Question of the night from DSS - 'what does seduce mean?'

    :eek::eek::eek:

Look forward to these questions guys! Always have your guard up!

Benjamin was so funny earlier, I was making macaroni cheese for DSS and I gave Benjamin 2 marshmallows, one for him and one for DSS. He put one in his mouth and wandered off to give DSS his...when he got to DSS he took the one out of his mouth and held it out to his brother whilst shoving the other into his mouth at the same time :rotfl::rotfl:

Needless to say he got to eat both!

SJ Oh no, it's so hard when people [STRIKE]interfere[/STRIKE] try to help when little ones are eating, I am still doing a mixture of purees and finger food and my mum says not to give him finger foods when she is about as she knows she will panic :rotfl: least that's good though as I just do the puree and then the ff after they have gone. Having said all that, I have just thought that I don't mind as it's my mum, not MIL as no doubt it would be a different story fnarr fnarr

MFD Lol at DSS, blimey I'm not looking forward to these type of questions!! BTW U and Sugar have really got me noticing when news reports use different denominators (is that the word?!). I was reading another breastfeeding report and they had done it too, changed from so many out of 10 to so many out of 5

I'm debating whether i should get this for him for my cousin's wedding next April (he'll be nearly 12months old)

It would just be £13.20 with discount but I'm not sure if it would be a bit too fancy and perhaps uncomfortable. I think I've seen less fancy cute litte shirt/trousers and waistcoat sets in Asda. It is supercute tho!

Personally although I think it's cute I wouldn't put Alfie in it, as I think it would be a a bit uncomfy. M&S always have nice smarter but not too dressy outfits in.

FBB - she has maybe 6 feeds a day? I'm not too sure really, it's definately dropped off all of a sudden in the last fortnight as eating seems to have really clicked with her now. She was 16lb 8oz today so still a dink but I've taken some piccies today and she's got a right buddha belly on her lol. Isla's got her own version of crawling which is funny to watch, she sticks a leg out sideways to propel herself forwards :rotfl: We're going to look at cruisers at weekend as she doesn't stop circling the front room once she's up.

Daytime naps I give her a feed on the bed then a cuddle and wander off while she's semi awake and she normally goes asleep for an hour plus now. I don't think I'm going back to work, the intention is not to and to do something (anything!) from home but we've just decided we want to buy a house so may need to go back part time for a short period purely for mortgage purposes then leave in a few months. Or I could try to get pregnant and have ML all over again I suppose :rotfl:

SJ it was lovely having Emily over. Their so different to each other, it's unbelievable there's only 10 days between them! They went back home today so it may be a while before we see them again which is a shame :( MIL wasn't too bad really, I felt a bit put on the spot a few times but we arranged most meet ups away from there house so didn't have to see them that often. Did you say anything to MIL about taking the food from Alfie? I can offer you a box of rusks to smack her round the head with

MFD - Benjamin is a star! What a fab way to get two sweeties.

They only had the size I wanted left (6-9months) and I used the 10% off code and free delivery from HUKD :money: I can take it back to store if it's not right.

He's just been signed off work for a week after being violated by the Dr... He's been referred for an urgent camera investigation... :(

Awww Krystal, I really hope he feels better soon
I love seeing how the Nov babies have come on :D
AF isn't as horrendous as I was expecting tbh, just not nice to deal with when you've got so used to not having them. I'm glad it's this week as I'm away next week and it wouldn't have occured to me to pack any necessaries!

Me too! My AF started for the 1st time yesterday - remarkable timing as I think there are just 2 days between D and I ......

D has really, really good times but has had a fair share of shocking times what with the eczema/allergies/chicken pox/teething plus I have just given him my throat infection...... I do NOT expect a good night tonight :rotfl:. Having said that, I LOVE his personality - he giggles for Britain and is now starting to stand on his own for a good 10 to 15 seconds . He stands at the stair/safety gates and rattles them as if to say "what the heck do you think you are playing at? I am way too cute to be stuck in 1 place for this long :rotfl:) His best thing though is dancing (in time ) to Zingzillas :D

We went to Cheltenham shopping today, it was totally unplanned but was a really lovely day even if we did spend way too much :D. There were a few bargains in Debenhams on some baby designer ranges that I may have found simply impossible to resist :o plus DH and I had a few bargains too

Hammy Zingzillas is a big hit here too! The 'no hands' scares me, our babies look too small to be holding themselves up let alone standing unsupported
