Blimey 3, you're a social butterfly this week!

Boo, please give baby James a tiny hug from us too.

Mel, it'll get easier, and you're doing incredibly well. She doesn't hate you, she's just adjusting. I wish I could do something to help you :(

 everyone else, we're about to descend upon an estate agent and insist they find us the perfect house :rotfl:

Did you have to get permission to do it?

There is nothing here in Fareham for us :( so we might go over your way a bit if nothing comes up. OH works at QA so it wouldnt be so bad for him, but I work here and would have to pay for travel :(

I tried to send feelinggood a pm to find out how she is but she's not receiving messages. I know she has a chequered history with this thread but has offered useful comments in the past and I wanted to know that she was ok, does anyone know?
She appears to be very well.
Keely - She's not replied to my last msgs :( but I [STRIKE]stalk her[/STRIKE] read another forum that she is also on and she sounds happy atm :)

Me too - also where is best to park for the drivers?, would the car park we want have a postcode for the sat-nav?

I could also do with the number of someone who knows where they're going. I've got SJ's. And SM's - if she's with Jillie we'll be ok.

I'mspending the day cleaning, in preparation for a visit from Queen Caz. ;) I don't want her telling you all i'm a scruffy bint.

We have a slight problem - I haven't got a spare car seat for Erin.
Does anyone local-ish have one we could borrow, I could get it back to you Friday or Saturday.
I'm trying to think of which RL friend might have one, but most have older children and booster seats.
(Does anyone know if you're allowed to advertise on freecycle for a borrow?)

SB are you still ok for Thursday? Where and when to meet? I won't have V, it'll just be me, Caz & Erin.
The golf course post code is M25 2SW, you need to park in the carpark off Sheepfoot Lane coz it's the closest

Are you meeting SB  I'm outraged I want to meet her too!!

We get freecycle carseat requests/offers all the time here

I still have them but Husband and I had a talk and it seems that what sounded like very big second thoughts on his part were just a bit of panic that things are actually happening. It's a big step, and there are so many more things to consider than just "we need a house" because there's a big move involved. So we're going to view a place this evening and then after that I'm not scheduling any more, we'll make a more serious long term plan.

We were just out and about, Miss Molly wearing a pink dress with hearts on it, and an old lady asked what "his" name was. The mind boggles.

Thank you for the help with Oscar sleeping in his travel cot, we used it for a playpen and put him to bed in his cot then when he was asleep tranfered him to the travel cot he slept 11pm - 7am. Have done what SM suggested and added a duvet under him which he is obviously more comfortable with.

Hope you all have a good meet and the weather stays good for you.

I know! :D I'm doing all of my socialising for 6 months in one week however, it means i'll be bored for the next 6 months. :(

I hope the estate agent has the perfect house waiting for you. If not, phone Kirsty & Phil on Location Location and let them find you one. If you're shy, you could disguise yourself for the tv show, and give a false name.

Thank you - i'll pop it in the sat nav.

We're meeting SB Thursday in Liverpool somewhere, before Caz has to get her train back. You, and/or anyone else, is welcome to join us.

I've just had a productive walk up to the village. I got a nice new picnic blanket for tomorrow from Matalan. :D

I finally (after living here for 6+ years) went and registered us at the Library. They're doing a 'thing' over the summer holidays where the littleuns get stickers for reading, and if they read 6 books over the 6 weeks, the library come into school in September and present them with a certificate & medal. L loves reading anyway, but will do anything for a medal. :rotfl:

I also got V's groovy purple bookstart bag with some books & crayons in.

I also bumped into L's friends mum. For a while now, L has said that this group of friends 'The Sleepover Girls' have dumped her and she's got two new friends instead. I assumed it's normal girl stuff and they'll be friends again in half an hour.
Anyway, friends Mum asked me why L wasn't friends with the girls anymore. I said as far as I know, L had been dumped. Friends Mum said L said to them "My mum said i'm not allowed to be in the group anymore because I have to study for my 11+". :rotfl: She's 9  My daughter has the most amazing imagination sometimes. All her friends/mums must have me down as a wicked mother making her daughter stay in and study for two years.

ETA: My ad. for a car seat is on freecycle, now i'm just waiting.
