Thanks for your post, good idea about having a summary of it all, and back up. I do tend to fire certain questions back at people.
For example if they ask me if im not worried that im putting my childs health at risk.... I ask if they are aware of the lasting implications of vaccines/immunisations on the body....Hopefully noone takes my posts the wrong way, I wouldnt try to convince anyone against the choices theyve made, so Im not trying to preach my way or the high way, was just curious about people's experiences when theyve refused them...Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Also, I had the MMR as a child... I've had mumps twice... And I was already rubella immune because my Mum is a carrier and infected all 4 of us when we were born...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Still catching up as not been on really in aday - boy you lot can chat!!
But wanted to ask in case I forgot (and sorry if you've already said) but EA how is your dad today?0 -
How much they chase you may depend on whether they're meeting their targets for % vaccinated children. My mum was hassled with multiple phone calls for my brothers to have the MMR in the catch up programme. (They'd all actually had Mumps and had a single measles vaccination already (because the single measles jab had been the standard) so she thought it was a bit pointless to give them a new triple jab just for the rubella.)
She was also phoned up by the school nurse and told I should have a tetanus booster with everyone else at school even though I'd had one at my Doctors about three months earlier. The justification was that they'd added diptheria into the booster in the intervening three months and there was a diphtheria epidemic in Russia so it was very important for me to have it. My mum told her that if I was going to Russia she would take it into consideration but that I didn't have any immediate plans to do so. (And then ten years later when I tried to get a booster I was told they don't do them any more because they found it to be harmful to keep having boosters.)Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I asked a few days ago but can anyone help with Beenie's complaint letter?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Can anyone help with Beenie's complaint letter?
Topics to include are:- length of time taken to deal with complaint
- complaint not taken seriously
- no support given
- lack of information - not kept informed about progress or what was going to happen/be done
- not advised to keep noise diary
- HO's comment that she was only complaining about noise in order to move
- HO's comment about ex being able to find her even if she moved
- HO swearing
- HO's promise not to close the case on the basis of the staged sound test followed by no contact for three weeks then the case being closed
- Anything else anyone happens to remember that has been previously mentioned.
A few quotes from the council website to help:
Sorry Susan - I did mean to have a look, thanks for the reminder. How about ignoring contact made to HO by health professionals (didn't HV get in touch).
General lack of support and empathy given to a vulnerable woman with 2 young children. No acknowledgement that Beenie feels threatened by her neighbours.
MMmmm - thinking....

Susan, I'm happy to look over a written letter but I've already written them one as a healthcare professional (ignored) so don't want my style to rub off into another letter IYSWIM?

I got tickets allocated to me for the Michael McIntyre Roadshow in Bristol - 4 tickets for a Friday night - but it is the day before we have tickets to go to see Sister Act in London so we can't go
Will email them to see if it has to be me or if I can pass them on (or exchange for a different venue maybe?)
Just my luck!
I missed out on the Leeds ones but have been allocated 2 stand by tickets. Hopefully we'll get in but if not we will go for a few drinks or something. Be nice to get out togather either way.We have a windchime on Alice's door handle. (Although she's actually so loud that we know she's coming well before then.)
That is a brilliant idea! I'm totally going to steal it when Alfie is big enough to bet out of bed on his own.It seems MFD's favourite advise really is wise(and is actually old news, shame most HPs don't seem to know this

3 that's fab news about your MP responding. I hope they can actually help. And  to the <insert expletives> at the Bastage Camp with the bullpoo responses to you.
Had dinner at mum and dad's tonight and my dad was so impressed with Alfie eating a piece of steak
Sugar you are so sweet looking for shoes for me!! I very much like these that you found. Going to bid on the IC ones and if I don't get those then I'm ordering these.
(I'm supposed to be finishing a wedding cake but have been catching up instead. Must go finish it now but will most likely be back after, not much left to do on it.)0 -
I don't know how it works in Germany but here you can only getthe single vaccines privately. Alice had the measles but because we weren't having the rubella, we had to skip a clinic and they didn't take the deposit for the next one (I presume it's to do with the fact that they're supposed to encourage people to have all of them that they couldn't just move the mumps forward.) and we've not heard fromt hem since despite many e-mails and phone messages. There are periodic shortages of the single mumps vaccine (because every so often the mnufacturer stops making them for a while) which may also be a factor but I'm not bothered about her having it any more so haven't bothered. I think if you had all three it would be in the region of £350-400 although it was two years ago Alice had her Measles one so prices may have gone up.
Thanks for that, I will admit I hadnt really looked into them, but might research it all now
Just thought I would post some pics of E
