    Evening all.

Gym - congrats to you and OH x

Kindof - v cute pics :) looks like E likes his Bumbo, T looks lost in hers still

EA - hope your dad is ok x

Me and OH have decided we need a 3 wheel pushchair with inflatable three. Would be so much better for the walks we are doing ATM. Been looking on eBay but OH was saying we could get a new one if we could find for arouund £120. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations as mothercare is crap for 3 wheelers unless you want a travel system!

It's not inflatable tires, but get the Petite Star Zia!!

Sooooo nice. Lightweight, very maneuverable, smooth, folds down tiny. I loooooove mine and still got it from Mcare. ;)

Oh no hammy, i hope ur back in bed! Finn's developed this new habit of waking at 11pm every night and it took 50 min to fall back asleep tonight - trying to break this new habit!

  • Morning all. We had a lovely evening last night, but got home at 10:30 to a little girl who was still up with granny and grandad. Got her to bed about 11 or so, then me to bed at about half 12. Then we have been up again since 4am. Today is going to be a struggling day, but never mind. Maybe DH will let me have a nap later.

Aless - I have my lovely techno xlr fir that and all though it's not a 3 wheeler I can still manage it with one hand, we need the gyres cos we have been walking on some very bumpy ground so the zia wouldn't solve that.

Am off to look at freecycle now.

Aw no :( I honestly don;t know how you do it on so little sleep all the time. I'd have Tia crossing the street to avoid me, she'd think I was a zombie!

Nightmare! Slightly different but when me and my sister were little and sometimes had this lovely old couple babysit us, we would run up to bed when we heard our parent's car in the drive! My mum only found this out when I told her a couple of months ago, the bazbysitters always said we'd been in bed ages! :rotfl:
  • I used to babysit for two little boys who would NEVER stay in bed. Even if they were in bed when I got there they would come down and climb all over me when they herd their parents leave - I was obviously a soft touch!

She had a lovely time with my parents watching the athletics and a prom on the tv, so at least there was something on that was suitable! I don't know why she was so restless when she did go to bed though - not sure if it was teeth, or if she thought I was going to leave again? She won't let me look at her mouth this morning, so possibly a bit of both. I'm now resisting the temptation to break out the jaffa cakes to help me through the morning.

    Aw hugs Hammy.
Jack woke screaming at 9.45pm and wouldn't stop, was definitely his tooth but nothing would settle him except an ice pop of water.
Never saw the end of the film - hey ho!

Hammy, I thought the Time Traveller's Wife was a good book. Normally I mostly work on the principle that if a book is rubbish I put it in the charity box in the hope that someone else will love it, if it's ok I take it to a book swap run by a friend of a friend so I can give it a vague recommendation if need be, if I think it's good I give it to a specific person I think will love it, and if it's great I give it to someone specific and then replace my copy as and when. I gave away my Time Traveller's Wife and haven't yet replaced it but keep meaning to.

We have a lot of books, but well over half are Husband's. He won't hear of passing books on.

Not a bad night here, very tired still but getting closer to being no longer jetlagged and back into a normal timescale. And today we're going to the zoo :j

Edit: article in the Observer about a study that found no adverse effect on children whose mothers go back to work.
