D'ya know, dh said exactly the same about police recruitment! I mentioned that they probably only have a few intakes a year, he said with this government there would probably only be 'outtakes' from now on:cool:

    Thanks for the replies anyway:)

Elle - I also forgot to say well done on Rhys showing the physio how great he is:D

SJ - Sorry to hear things weren't sorted today and are being dragged out......it must be tough on you all.

I have barely slept.....dh woke me at midnight and since then K keeps waking, and for the last hour T just won't settle so it looks like a long night for me:( My best friend is visiting in the morning, not sure I will be able to stay awake to chat though haha.

    xx

Morning all. Lie in this morning - right side of 6am :)
Ladybird- where did Izzy get her big duck? I've just seen it on FB and I love it!

I was a christmas present. It was called duckzilla on the packaging so you could probably google that. I assume it was hawkins bazarre or somewhere like that though.

Sami - that cake is awesome :)

SJ - your poor parents to be left hanging again.

Elle - yeay for Rhys struting his stuff for the phsio :D

MDW - Katie is so cute making you join in singing WoO x

Have been awake since 5.30 :( Not really Ts fault I just couldnt get comfy and the OHs alarm went off at 5.45 and then 5.50 and then 5.55 and then 6 grrrr! I asked him to change Ts bum and he didnt budge so I got up and did it, took her back to bed and fed her for her to promptly puke everywhere! She's ok but I had to strip the bed so thats now in the wash.

Anyhoo made the most of it and cleaned my breast pump. It hasnt been used for a while and had some black spots appearing on it, Id been asking OH to clean it for me as I wasnt allowed to get my finger wet he's been doing the washing up as the gloves wont fit over my dressing. But I had my stitches out yesterday and no dressing so gloves fit now. You'd think he'd have been motivated by the fact that I said I need to be able to get a hang of expressing so we can go out to the cinema.

    Morning

Another busy day. Just the one call to do on the way back from taking James to summer school, but loads of online work to do at home.

James is off to an aircraft museum this morning and he's very excited about it.

Have a good day all xx

I would just leave them to it Caz, if Lola didn't want the kitten to do it, she'd let her know!

Keely, make sure you take painkillers, cycle Ibuprofen and paracetamol. It really makes a difference to how you're feeling, do the same with Elliot and I hope you both feel better soon xx

Incidentally, we start holidays next week so if you want to meet up somewhere over your way just let me know :)

Thanks for the tips ie painkillers, i've just taken some ibruprofen and will take paracetamol next :)

Elliot has perked up a bit this morning, took us a lonngggggg time to get him to get and to sleep last night. I then had a wierd nightmare and in my sleep switched on the light and shouted theres something in here!!! scaring my poor husband, and i woke up thinking what the hell am i doing?!

Yes-would be lovely to meet up :)

But there are only 3 of you and you have a nice tidy girl...my big boys race round the house like the tazmanian devil and are in and out of the garden like flies, dragging grass and mud in....along with K creating huge amounts of crumbs everywhere and a big VERY hairy dog and a cat, the house just looks a tip constantly!!!

I have to hoover every other day downstairs and once-twice a week upstairs, I also use the mini hand-vac a few times a day in the living room!!

I don't get much chance to hoover these days as Elliot hates the hoover! So only usually once a week or so, and sweep up any bits inbetween if i can.

My lovely neighbour however, loves to hoover several times a DAY! She's loopy. She's also puttting washing in most of the day and evening. lol.

Morning everyone. Hope you are all ok.
I've got a fairly clingy baby with a temperature, feeling sorry for himself, this morning - bless!
Trying to give calpol to a screaming baby, who doesn't want it, isn't fun....
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Jill- it's a service advertised at our maternity hospital and I ust found the number on their website. The MW said lots of PCTs are starting to offer it, but not all yet.

Confession- I cried last night because OH forgot that the MW was coming, even though I'd reminded him in the morning. When I told him that I was upset that he forgot he just said he has a lot on his mind at the moment and didn't even ask what the MW said :(. He wasn't meant to be there, but I'd hoped that he was interested in how it went.

SM- I hope Jayden went off to sleep all right in the end.

    Hammy- how is D now?

I'm watching a Come Dine With Me marathon on Discovery Real Time while H naps!
