Charlotte asked me for some money earlier, so I pretended to give her some. Then she went off with a "bag for life" and pottered about in the porch for a few minutes. They she came back and said she'd been shopping and bought me some chocolate biscuits for being good, so I had to pretend to eat them :D
It's so funny when they treat you how you treat them. This evening when I was in the bath I was making words with the foam letters and after getting me to make "bag" Alice said, "Well done sweetie" and gave me a pat on the head.

Evening all. Sounds like it is getting a bit juicy in here for a tuesday night!

Beccles, Charlotte is such a cutie :)

Having a mega busy time at work at the mo, it is insane. I need to get loads of things finished tomorrow seeing as I'm then on jury service for two weeks. (well, if things don't get finished then so be it, but it will make life easier when I get back iyswim). I also need to construct a tactfully worded e-mail along the lines that if a client sends in an e-mail with my name on it it doesn't mean no-one else can reply if i'm not in ;) It is a shame these things need pointing out, but you would be surprised!

  • Ooh, I had just assumed that the trailer would be safe for him. Did you get a bike seat for Benjamin? H is a fairly hefty boy, already the size of most 1 year olds so I would think he would be okay. I wonder of they'd let us try both before we decide?

We had a bike seat and Benjamin really enjoyed it. I could carry him easily and there is no way I would be able to pull a trailer, I am not the fittest of people :o

We only had difficulties when he was pulling my top up and slapping my back like a horse :rotfl::rotfl:I nearly fell off from laughing!

MFD thanks for your post a few weeks ago about the Michael McIntyre tickets i've just got 2 for the Leeds one. Although the Sunderland would have been closer... but i like Leeds anyhoo.

    Typically I haven't heard anything :(
OMG Our little boys are going to grow up into those dirty males:eek:.

Mine already likes to grab his widgie whenever he can!!

Am a bit  with hubby and Clarks today. I bolted back from my meeting in Manchester to pick Benjamin up early and then came home to pick hubby up so we could go and get Benjamin's feet measured. Hubby was 10 minutes late which meant we didn't get to Clarks until 5.20pm at which point they told us that we were too late for children's shoes because they closed at 5.30pm.

I have written them a strongly worded email suggesting that if there is a time limit for actually buying shoes perhaps they should list that on their website rather than a closing time. It only takes 5 mins to buy shoes in Clarks anyway!!

That's happened to me before at Clarks Mfd, I only wanted to get her feet measured to see if she needed new shoes and they told me they don't measure childrens feet after 20 past... Plebs... It's not like there's a whole load of choice in shoes once they've measured anyway, they usually bring out the 2 pairs in that size and that's it...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

GISI - I'm glad the afterthoughts thing was useful :)
elle - Go Rhys, and ya bo sucks to the physio!
JM - we have an ikea table too. Izzy loves it :) I normally have to sit on the floor next to her while she eats though. she doesn't like eating by herself

Re !!!!!!, DH used to buy it in from the states (when the exchange rate was more friendly) to sell to his mates. Meant I found out the preferences of some that I didn't need to know .

Sleep definitley sorted here for the time being. Izzy even climbed into bed by herself tonight without making a fuss :) :T:T:T Only till next time the teeth kick in I'm sure, but still it makes the evening easier.

Actually begs the question... Bruno.... Do you?

I must say, I introduced my husband to the wonder that is firefox private browsing thus eliminating all this drama.

Now we are post-watershed I shall say - No :A (not "I have never", but "I have no habit and no particular need or interest").

OH has accidentally taught E her fear of bees  She is deeply terrified of bees and wasps (and spiders), and while a few weeks ago E would watch them with interest saying "Buzzy bee! Zzzz buzzy bee!", now he will only say this from the comfort of clinging to our legs and peeking round them.
