I'm in charge of our hoovering... I did the middle of my living room today... First time in a week... Can't remember when I last did the hall... Or stairs...

I should probably feel ashamed enough to do it this week...

    Probably won't though....

Come on Em, gonna put us out of our misery?

I'm with you on that. Lounge/kitchen get done daily or every couple of days. Stairs and upstairs get done when the dust is thick enough to write in, or when posh people are visiting.

Another who'd like to know what your OH was looking at Em. Maybe you could just post a link :rotfl:.

 OH is in charge of vacuuming in our house and it doesn't even get done once a month.

But there are only 3 of you and you have a nice tidy girl...my big boys race round the house like the tazmanian devil and are in and out of the garden like flies, dragging grass and mud in....along with K creating huge amounts of crumbs everywhere and a big VERY hairy dog and a cat, the house just looks a tip constantly!!!

I have to hoover every other day downstairs and once-twice a week upstairs, I also use the mini hand-vac a few times a day in the living room!!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

I hoover upstairs about twice a year lmao :rotfl:

And i sweep downstairs a few times a week. All the dust/hair gets blown under the couch so it doesn't bother me :p

    I am a serious houseworkaphobe.

My DS is loving Amber's baby walker, he's doing the whole vroom vroom noises and pushing her round the wooden floors at whiplash speeds :rotfl:

:rotfl: I hadn't thought of that. Alice is more bothered about keeping the place clean than I am.

I'm not so much a houseworkaphobe as a lazy cow...

Em, that cake looks lovely, got a recipe?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

J banged a full bottle of ribena against the unit in the kitchen, and made a ribena volcano up to the ceiling. :( I wonder if I can make a purple spotty ceiling a design feature.

Mel Did I say today that J seems to have stopped banging? I would like to retract that statement.

It feels really strange tonight because OH is at work. But the house is looking really tidy - I get so much more done without him here.

Downstairs and the stairs get hoovered every day here unless I really cba. I have messy children and a hairy dog too.

We hoover daily here too downstairs, upstairs once a week. We have a big hairy dog too!!

GISI Interested to read about the bike trailer or seat, we have a seat ready to use with Toby, must try and get it fixed to DH bike really. Is there a minimum age for them as I think T would sit in one fine?
    Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j
