GISI Interested to read about the bike trailer or seat, we have a seat ready to use with Toby, must try and get it fixed to DH bike really. Is there a minimum age for them as I think T would sit in one fine?
When we bought our bike seat, the chap in the bike shop said they need to be able to hold their head up easily with the weight of a bike helmet.

J banged a full bottle of ribena against the unit in the kitchen, and made a ribena volcano up to the ceiling. :( I wonder if I can make a purple spotty ceiling a design feature.

Mel Did I say today that J seems to have stopped banging? I would like to retract that statement.

It feels really strange tonight because OH is at work. But the house is looking really tidy - I get so much more done without him here.

Downstairs and the stairs get hoovered every day here unless I really cba. I have messy children and a hairy dog too.

You may:p Sorry, that is my fault for asking you today...I have obviously jinxed you:doh:

I forgot to ask youtoday, how did you dh get into the police? Do they only take applications in cycles, every so often and also what was his job before...did it have anything to do with him being accepted??? Sorry for all the nosy questions and feel free to tell me to get lost:o

You've got my sympathies, Emlou. I went out about 10 days ago, to see a play with DH's mum and sister. The next morning I went on the computer, and was fairly suspicious as I discovered that DH had wiped the history. I asked him about it and he confessed that he had been watching something he shouldn't!!!!
Grr - men. I know he watches !!!!!!, it's something we've discussed in the past, and to be honest I'm ok with it, but it just makes me suspicious when he wipes the history like he's got something to hide!
It doesnt actually bother me that he watches it, ok so I'd rather he didnt but I dont have a problem with it as such. I was annoyed that he'd got in from work early and done that instead of going to pick up his son from the CM, or putting away some laundry or something. If I'd come back to a clean house I wouldnt have minded so much :rotfl:

No - I think she just knew that when I said, "What are you up to?" I really meant, "Are you up to mischief?" Presumably she's planning something though as she then asked me for £60 in cash.

Charlotte asked me for some money earlier, so I pretended to give her some. Then she went off with a "bag for life" and pottered about in the porch for a few minutes. They she came back and said she'd been shopping and bought me some chocolate biscuits for being good, so I had to pretend to eat them :D

Hi again, well it looks like it wasn't just teething bothering Elliot-we've both got tonsilitis :( I managed to get a last minute appointment as I was worried about him. I took a look in the mirror and i've got the classic symptoms (spots on my tonsils)...so more nasty pills to take!

    Keely.x

Hope you both feel better soon xx

Been to boot camp this evening in the lashing rain and it was awesome. I feel fantastic and on such a high!

Got absolutely soaked to the skin and had to literally peel my clothes off when I got home. Also managed to put my arm in a nettle, so I've now got a lumpy arm to add to my other damaged bits :o
Here I go again on my own....

Why, do you fancy it? I know I couldn't do it.

He's applied to both M & C quite a few times over the last 5 years and this is the first time he's got past the first application form.

They only release applications once or twice a year - so he was constantly checking the websites for dates. C eventually gave a date when applications would be accepted, and you had to phone on that day at a certain time, to get a a place on an awareness day. At the end of the awareness day session, they gave out application forms to those who still wanted one.

They gave out 1000 application forms and only 21 have ended up with a job. Another 21 were also successful, and were due to start training this month but it's been postponed because the new government have put a hold on recruitment. C haven't released any more applications since they did OH's in September 20008!

To be honest - the whole process has been a bl00dy nightmare!
