Not wanting to compete here, but..... Ssh! Don't tell anyone but I think I may have lost a child under the pile of dirty washing up in the kitchen and please don't open the door to the washing machine as I haven't yet managed to take out the washed clothes from 2 days ago.....
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Sorry about your parents SJ I went to the small claims court and it took a year and a bit to sort out which was quite stressful (all the othersides fault) but the judge took that into account when he made the ruling
That's what I'm worried aboutDon't really want to go into loads of detail but an employee of my dad's is claiming unfair dismissal. It wasn't and she's made a lot of things up but as is often the case with these things it's one person's word against another and the courts seem to favour the employee (and rightly so in most cases). But in this case she is a lying cowbag and deserves nothing.
ooh fabulous cake!! http://www.threadcakes.com/entries/view/219#39
Now that is amazing! I don;t think I could do anything like that.hammyhunter wrote: »
SJ - big hugs for you and your family. How is everything going with your Gran?
Thanks for asking, she's doing well. It was the last radiotherapy this morning :T Just need to go back in about 4 weeks to see if it's all gone. She can feel the lump is a lot smaller now which is great so we're just keeping our fingers crossed.
How are David's spots now?
And Jack's, if you're about Glam?0 -
Morning everyone.
I've found a plus point to OH working shifts. Wednesday is V's day with MIL, so we've just had our first childfree morning in months/years!.
Although the big two break up for the summer holidays today so we won't get another until September.
((Hugs)) Beenie, that's .
Hugs for poorly babies & Mummys.
Glam if you're lurking, how is the gorgeous spotty Jack?
Jillie tbh, V didn't really use her push alongs to walk with until she could walk iykwim?!? I found the V-tech one went too fast for her to keep up (that's probably because of the laminate flooring). Did someone link to a cute wooden ikea one a while ago?

I really should be ironing, bit I quite fancy a little nap instead.
FOOD QUESTION: I took meatballs out of the freezer last night for tonights tea. They look a bit more brown than pink now they've defrosted. Do you think they'll be ok?:beer:0 -
Beenie - I'm so  for your situation. Get everyone else you can involved. We'll all back you up and help with letter writing or anything else that may be of use.
Caz - pleased the HV is getting you some help. Hope things can be sorted soon. Baby steps mind xx
Meant to say last night but I forgot! A new lady joined boot camp, and she had a baby by emergency c-section only 8 weeks ago! Never had a c-section, but can't imagine doing vigerous exercise 8 weeks after giving birth, never mind a c-section! She did really well as well. Here I go again on my own....0 -
That's the Ikea toddle truck that we have 3 - I looked for it for Jenny ages ago and we couldn't find it so I thought it had been discontinued.
Somebody else was asking about it too...:o
Just gonna insert a pic so they spot it
And the linky again because it is now on a different page!
3 - if they smell okay then they probably are okay. The brown is just the oxygen getting at the meat. If they smell bad...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Beenie, how frustrating, im pretty sure they cant just 'ignore' any further complaints though, keep at it xxMeant to say last night but I forgot! Never had a c-section, but can't imagine doing vigerous exercise 8 weeks after giving birth, never mind a c-section! She did really well as well.
I still felt a bit 'raw' after 8 weeks tbh, i dont think i would have been ready for exercise then (Ha! 15 months later and im still sat on my arris lol) raw probably isnt the right word but the scar area still hurt when i sneezed for about 10 months if not more!!!
Hope everyones ok? I'm feeling a bit odd today, feel quite fed up but for no particular reason, really need to get the dodgy monitors posted back to amazon but i cba going the post office...
Sami, u managed to get Chris a nursery place sorted yet?
Oh and caz, last nights dinner plates plus breakfast plates is normal lol!! theres always pots piled in my house!! x0 -
3, the meatballs will be fine (unless they smell noticeably horrid).

Ambers pregnancy was harder for DH because he saw what happened last time. All through the pregnancy he didn't bond at all with the baby. He tried, but he wanted nothing to do with it at all. I had to go buy everything on my own because he refused to be part of it. Occasionally he would say or do something that showed he did care, but he was too busy trying to bury any feelings he had incase it all went wrong. That was hard on me, I needed support that he just couldn't give me at that time and as much as I understood, I hated him for it. As soon as she was born it was fine, baby girl had her daddy wrapped round her little chubby fingers.0

Thank you. I don't think they smell any worse than raw meat normally smells!:beer:0
