    Thanks guys:)

It has just come as a shock as K was sooooooooooooo unbelievably brilliant, and I claimed all along that the next one would be a pain in the bum, and she is......I don't think she really likes me tbh! As you say becles it really takes it out of you having to deal with the others throughout the day too, and there is always something that needs doing so it is hard to rest. I am dreading the summer holidays, in 3wks!!!!

Today I have got shopping to get, then T is being registered at 11am and we need to be at the school by 1pm for ds1's sports day, so no time to rest today. Tomorrow is tots grp in the morning and HV coming at some point in the afternoon, then wednesday the meet, Thursday tots in the morning and then midwife coming to discharge us and friday is T's hearing test that I missed last week!! Busy this week unfortunately.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

    Morning all!

Haven't a hope of catching up, just checking in to make sure people are still meeting! *I'm* meeting, but it would be a bit lonely with just me and Molly...

but I see people are wishing they were coming too so hopefully it's more than just us.

Hugs all round for newly married people, hungover hens, sleepless babies and mummies, and everything else I've missed.

Does anyone else have any views on working 4 day weeks? Not sure if anyone on here does that.
    [/QUOTE]

I'm hoping to go back on 4 days after my ML finishes. I work in retail so one of those days will be a sat when dh is off so T will only have 3 days in nursery. He's only 10 wks so finding it all very hard to think about. A few weeks ago I was debating not going back at all but this last week my brain has been getting overactive so I don't think I'm cut out to be a SAHM. I would love to go back on less but it just wouldn't be feasible. I did 4 days for the 2nd half of my pregnancy and it worked really well for me.

I need to write to HR to apply for flexible working, esp since I'll need set days for nursery. My lovely regional manager has told me that it won't be a problem as long as she's still there.

Mel - you definitely need more help.. There's no way you can cope with a week like that on the sleep youre getting so soon after giving birth. Thomas slept really well but there's still no way I'd have been up to everything you were doing. Please give yourself a break or you will make yourself poorly *hugs*

Help! I'm trying to sell my old travel system and not had much interest locally...however, have had 2 different buyers off eBay asking if I can ship it to them. I bought it used, so no original boxes or anything - how do people package up prams/carseats/etc? I MAY have a box that the carseat + base may fit in, but deffo not the pushchair. Giant rolls of bubble wrap? :P (Beenie, you sold one on eBay - help!) (and how on earth would I weigh it, eek?)

Morning, hope you have fun at the meets today, hope there is photos for us to see after :)

Bit of a rubbish night again here, T was up 3 times, although only for a quick feed and straight back down again so could be worse. Just wonder if he is ever gonna sleep through the night, lol!!

We are going on holiday in August and we are sharing a caravan home thing with BIL, his partner and their baby who will be 5 months old by then. I have visions of T being up way more than their baby and I just would have hoped it would be the other way round as T is older. Hey ho, not the end of the world, just having a monday morning moan.

    xx
