Jenny, i think there are a few people on here who reduced their hours, so hopefully someone will pipe up. Csh was trying to, i do remember, but she's on holiday :).

There's these really random thumping noises that we can't figure out...sound like they are right outside the window, but there is nothing out there. Hope it stops by the time I finish feeding Finn as i'm a big chicken and won't sleep if they are still going on.

    Tara, such lovely photos!

    Clever Benjamin :T

    Hugs for poor Henry's teethies...

MM, eek for the a&e, but hope she's ok.

No idea why, but i'm like randomly really hungry?? Good thing we don't have any interesting snacks or i'd be tempted to pig out after putting F back down, harhar.

    Morning

I have been up since 3am:( This baby just won't go back to sleep after that feed, she has now finally fallen asleep (about 5mins ago) but as she is just on the sofa, I can't go back to bed, plus K will be getting up anytime now, so there wouldn't be any point anyway.

I might as well go and iron the uniforms and make a cuppa, 3hrs sleep is not enough:( I don't know what to do with her, I can't go on having 3hrs a night:(

Mel - this will pass! In the mean time try and get a nap in once the bigger two are at nursery. I know easier said than done with more than one, but you never know!

Jenny - student loan gets written off eventually - don't worry about it! I'm back below the threashhold to be paying it now I'm working part time, so I bet the interest is mounding up! Oh, and I work 3 days a week, which feels about right. Someimes not from a work point of view as there are lots of jobs which get split evenly between us all, but two of us work part time so have less time to do them in. I'm getting better at saying "no" though! I should imagine that you are more likely to have that problem working 4 days. I have known a few people working 4 days who are prettu much expected to do a weeks worth of work in less time, and with less pay, which is rubbush :(

With regards to childcare, Izzy loves nursery and time with my Mum. I don't think nursery/childminders are a bad thing, so long as you find a good one. The little ones soon get used to the new routine and it is so much easier when you know they are having a good time :)

Tara, amazing pics, you are so beautiful, as are your children :D

    SB, hugs for Jamie

Hugs for all the teething babies and their mummies

Aless, I hope your night wasn't too bad

Boo, I hope Grumbelina had a better night :D

Mel, massive hugs hon, you really are having a tough time :(. Is there any reason why DH can't take over some of the night time? D was the same as Tea and it took him a couple weeks to realise the difference between night and day :(

David was a nightmare last night. He refused to sleep until 9.30 then woke up at 12 and then refused to sleep again until 2 *sigh*. We then had lots of crying almost hourly until 5.30 . He has now demolished a weetabix and half a fruit pot - I think we will have 15 minutes of play time then I will be very brave and attempt nap time....... wish me luck! :rotfl:

Can you believe, for the first time in over a month K slept till 7am (along with the older two) and T is still asleep on the sofa, despite the fact that she has now gone over 4.5hrs since her last feed.......I could have got some Zzzzz's earlier after all:(

Hope everyone else had a good nights sleep:)

oh Mel! It's so hard those first few weeks. It took Finn a while as well, he didn't like his Moses basket at first so had real issues sleeping.

Why did i get up this morning to see my baby boy demolishing a hot dog?! DH says, 'I didn't know what else to give him.' errrr, one of the 10 other healthier things in the fridge? :p boys!

Hammy, hugs for your bad night. I know too well how you feel, even though it wasn't too bad for us here. :o

Hope everyone has fun in Liverpool. Jealous!!

Mel - try and rest when you can. Charlotte had day and night mixed up at first and it was draining being up a lot in the night, then not being able to catch up on sleep as I was dealing with the other two during the day.

Hope you have a lovely meet in Liverpool.

Lovely weather here again today. Shame I'm off out to work this morning.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

Mel, I forgot to say last night, congratulations she is beautiful, get OH to take over this morning and go back to bed.

Jenny I was supposed to do 2.5 days when I returned to work after Millie, my hours were increased to 3 days which I really enjoyed then I was asked to step up to 4 days to cover someone else, working 4 days is the worst, you end up doing a full time job on part time pay. I had to remind nearly everybody that I was part time when they were piling more work on me and they were all like 'oh well you are always here its not like you are part time' Exactly, but its not hard to remember you are part time when you see your wage slip.
