Cafc you're probs right, it's soooooooooooo hard. I just want someone to take over sometimes. Well in fact, even when she's not crying constantly i wish someone would take over for one night, it's just worse when she's so inconsolable and i feel that a fresh set of eyes might give me a solution to whatever is troubling her.
Anyway she's asleep now... except she's down here in the travel cot cos she wailed when i put her upstairs... Not too sure how to move her without setting her off again :eek:0 -

I am totally loving the dress in photo 10 of the Nuby UK baby of the month competition.
That's my friend's baby girl! Another one where nuby messed the name up....they've got her down as her Mummy's name...her name is Taylor.
*hugs* Beenie...I've had a day like that with T but had the luxury of handing him over to DH while I had a chill. DH wanted a nap but I said he had to do the bath first lol. My friend had the same problem with her little boy yesterday and virtually ran out the house when her OH got home.... we both said today that we have no idea how single parents do it. :A (<<<Beenie)Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
We are desperate for a new sofa, and I've found this on ebay... I've sat on one in Argos before and thought it was comfy, I'm dithering cos its such a big buy (for us!) but the price here is excellent! The reviews on Argos are very mixed though. Can someone tell me what to do please? OH doesnt seem bothered as long as we have something new and soonish but you can guarantee once it comes and its wrong it'll all be my fault. My friend got through 3 argos sofas before she got her current one (also argos) as they were all faulty. I think it was the bit under the cushions that was poor quality. The 3rd one was fine tho!
I've known others who've been quite happy with them. It's a risk as you can't just take it back if it;s not rightMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Exactly! If it was Argos I'd be dithering less cos you can just change your mind with them, but you cant do that on Ebay!Mummy to

Firstly, if I miss anyone or anything, sorry. I'm on a phone and I keep hitting the wrong buttons
will be able to respond better tomorrow.
:T Huge congrats MOTM. I've been thinking about you all day!
How did Lucy take it? I bet she's feeling very overwhelmed at the moment. (I know I would have been!)
Lucy is overwhelmed, but the first thing she said was that she was glad she wouldn't have to go through pregnancy again. She says she wants two children of her own, although she adores her adopted family too. Very excited and nervous, but she's glowing.HUGE CONGRATULATIONS MOTM AND LUCY!!!!
And I would say yes to nuchal scan.....mine was done during my 12 week scan, where i was told the s e x as well.
We were told they may be able to tell us the genders at the scan, but we thought we may have to wait until week 20.redmel1621 wrote: »Congratulations MOTM and Lucy, how wonderful for you both:)
I would have loved twins for pregnancy 1, or 2....... Thankfully there aren't really any twins in either of our families, so if we do decide to go for 'one more' it will be just that:D
xx
You may randomly have twins next time
Obviously, I already have twins, but Lucy has twin brothers, one of which has......twins.0 -
Thanks Gill :A
Em i would be wary of that seller, they are not registered as a business seller so you might have trouble enforcing the Distance Selling regulations if you needed to.
Does anyone know what WT means on the job search pages (Direct.gov)?? - edit ignore me i figured it out - work trials0 -
OK, thanks Beenie, what are distance selling regulations and why might I need them?Mummy to

I would agree with Lucy wholeheartedly there MOTM lol....and at least she's going to have you there to support and help so she won't be coping with twins alone while you're working. It's very excitingMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
