3 i always forget to magnify/amplify everything by 100 to allow for his "interpretation" of events.... like him telling me how tired he was during my labour, and get this "at least you got to sleep".... No love I wasn't asleep, I was unconscious you noob from all the drugs and the fact that I STOPPED BREATHING!!!!

congrats to you and Lucy, how have the girls taken it?'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Beenie - Could it may be because DS isn't as stressed when he holds her. When Landen is being a mental patient and I'm bordering on tears, he's screaming in my lug hole, and DH takes him, and its like a ruddy switch!
Have you given her anything cold to munch on?I've got some teethers here which just go in fridge/freezer, Tommee Tippee ones, if you want a pack, just come on round LOL Got them in £land.... v.impressedWealth is not measured by currency0 -
cafc- my friend had her tubes tied at 28. if its what you really want then they cant refuse it.
all i would say is dont rush into it as its easier to reverse a vasectomy than sterilisation.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Theres no rushing in, to my mind anyway.
We always knew we only wanted one child (and ideally a boy - woowoo!).....
After one miscarriage, and then all the drama with this one, I dont think emotionally I could go through it all again... and plus I just... dont really want to LOL
Although 1 in 200 fails apparently.... and I know my luck!
for men it's 1 in 2000..... much prefer those odds....
I think we'll get him done.... and perhaps the dog at the same time, BOGOF at Family Planning?!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

My little baby has her last day in the baby room at nursery tomorrow. How did that happen? So on Monday she is off to the next room. I have to send her in with slippers, and make sure all her clothes are labelled. It is like starting from the begining again! We have a little present and a card to take in tomorrow for them. It will be a bit sad! She is definitely ready for it though, on to the next challenge and all
Another interview thingy on Friday too - an entire assessment day to go to this time, which will be exhausting I expect! Not sure I will want the job, as they will need to pay me right at the top of the salary range for it to be worth my while. Not a problem if the advertised salary is just the starting one, with the likelihood to go up, but we will see ...

Ack, DH finally admitted that all the ribbing he gave me was just because he was in fact scared shitless and he has to try and laugh about it or he'd go mad.
And also, DH didn't moan about his vasectomy due to the birth trauma card. He said what got him through was the fact that he would never again be in the position where stuff was happening that he had 'made happen' (his words). I think he felt like he was trying to make it up to me?
Besides, the doctor told him he had to empty his tubes on a twice daily basis so he was giving it his all! :rotfl: This is based on the 6 week 'storage' of sperm. Explaining that as I was already pregnant he had time didn't go down too well!0 -
