Being UNABLE to walk SOMEWHERE due to ONE OR MORE DISABILITIES, whether they be mental or otherwise, is a severe mobility problem.
but the goverment cant agree because she has been turned down for the blue badge and did not qualify for any dla on mobility just middle care
  • I tried to explain to you respectfully in another post but you chose to ignore it. I now realise you're just trolling and everyone would do well to ignore you. Either that or you're just ignorant to mental health disabilities and are just here to upset people.

yes my friend for identical problems and with identical needs got dla mobility. under the criteria i should apply, but i thought it wasnt worth appealing for an extra £18 and potentially having my dla taken away because they have taken it away from more seriously ill people before now.

its a bit bad that the system instills terror in people who want to appeal
2 esa medicals passed successfully (support group - it can be done!!)!! :j

and i have tried to explain politely to you too.....the rules are set out by the goverment they said no to the people who suffer the same as her may agree with her but at the end of the day the goverment said no ....these spaces are being missused by people who dont really need them......this forum has some very good money saving tips but sadly it has also the ability to give people ideas what to write on there forms and what to say at medicals... etc this onfo is very usefull to genuine cases but is a big problem in helping fraudilant cases if you wish to ignore me please do but at the end of the day the goverment agree i have a case for a blue badge where she has been denied !!!fact!!!

No you haven't. Quote the posts at me though because I'm happy to be proven wrong. Also, if you want to use the argument that blue badges are being abused or fraudulently obtained you'll have to back it up with facts and the sources you obtained them, otherwise it's just waffle.

Love the comment on the ol' dear and the disabled space - i do think there is a thing with the older generation, that they think you must be over 65 to be disabled.

Young people can have things wrong too ! Also i have been abused by one of these granny psychos myself (in a car with my mum who has a bb) and she totally went off at my mum accussing her of abusing the badge and being of an ignorant younger generation --- haha my mum is 61 !!!! (but she was chuffed to bits at being called a youngester !)

We had someone tut tutting at us today at the hospital when we pulled into a space, goodness knows why but by sort of reading the lips, it was along the lines of my dad being too young to have a badge (he hadn't attempted to get out of the car at this point) and he is 70 this year!

The dirty looks being thrown at us were something to behold...until dad had to get out of the car with assistance and a struggle and the elderly passenger in the car that had tutted us (and the blue badge holder), got out with no problems at all.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I always have people giving me dirty looks when I pull into a blue bay. I drive a fairly nice car and I don't meet the aesthetic stereotypes of a disabled person so people are very quick to incorrectly assume. It's most frustrating. I always feel a need to rush up to them on my crutches shouting 'See! I am allowed to park here!!' which is ridiculous as I shouldn't feel the need to prove anything :)
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
