Not long to get my last few orders now!...0 -
Hi all just to say hello as I am getting signed up this week with a local SL. I'm on maternity leave and looking to do Avon for a year or so and see where it takes me. With a baby arriving soon I am only starting on a small scale with friends and family and neighbours. I've read through all your advice (taken me 2 hours!) which has been so helpful, thank you.
I used to work for Jo Malone cosmetics p/t so I do have a real passion for lovely skincare and makeup. I'm also quite good at applying makeup.
Hope to keep you posted with details of my first order!

You're very welcome; good luck with your last few orders.
Various contributors on this thread have done a List of Uses for SSS; if you look back you should find at least one posted up or I've done a word doc file that prints out double-sided A4 but then folds to produce an A5 size pamphlet. Hi J_pink, I was in your part of the world last week.... (Have family up there)
Good luck doing Avon, sounds like the party route might be worth thinking about i.e. you could do make-overs maybe? I've never had the courage to go that route but gather it's pretty successful for those, who do.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi jha,
(Why are none of you potential new reps anywhere near me? :rotfl:)
If you've applied online then chances are you'll get tagged to your ASM. (Met some really good team leaders around the Bristol area but no ideas if they go as far as your area.) No ideas how long it should take but it will give you an indication of the calibre of your ASM i.e. the quicker you hear, the better they will probably be. Only my take on things; no actual experience though to back that up!
Good luck anyway and no, shouldn't be a problem opening a new bank account to run your Avon through. Actually sounds a good idea to me and well done your OH for suggesting it.
When you apply you only have to state how many years you've had a bank account for - doesn't have to be the one you are going to use; just 'any bank account at all'.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I applied online for my other half last Tuesday or Wednesday I think and I still haven't heard anything. Its not looking good for getting a decent ASM.
I did send my postcode to Aureol in a pm, but unfortunately the nearest SL that Aureol has on her list is her and she is a bit too far as she can't drive. Any other ideas as to how I can sign my other half up?
Aureol, I also tried the two reps that you gave me details for, one doesn't do Avon any more and the other one hasn't replied yet.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!
