Yes I agree - best to keep a small stock of items in (you'll gradually accumulate bits anyway through creative ordering that were completely free, or you got ridiculously cheap - eg I had a customer order one bottle of bubble bath at £4, but it was in the 4 for £5 offer, so I took the offer up so I got 3 bottles of bubble bath and still earnt 25p from her bottle. Granted I'll probably use it myself though lol), or to order items that are currently in the brochure. The only time I state what people will get free is when I've had the items in, and I know I've got plenty. For example, a few campaigns ago in the clearance bit, you could get sss body lotions for 50p, and almond naturals shower gels for 50p. I bought about 60 of each and offered my customers if they spent £10 or more they would get one free - current territory customers were offered the shower gel, OH back order customers were offered the body lotion (just so I knew I'd have plenty). Had plenty left over lol, but I've been selling them when we do carboots, and at that price I don't mind keeping them in to use as free gifts throughout the year. Customers don't know how much they cost me afterall lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

i have seemed to get a free full size avon anew luminosty which is worth £15 at the moment..its absoulty written absoulty no where why i have got this! It says that i qualified for my lotus shield and got £15 worth of freebies to be sent in campaign 15..3 more campaigns away..1.. i didnt think i did quaify as i only ordered 2 products of £1.50 each not £15 worth ..unless you include the lotus sheild money saver offer which i got a phone call offer , and i took it up..still no mention of the anew product...im confused!..any ideas why i got this free unmentioned product..was it a whoopsie freebie extra..i hope so lol
also ggggggaaaa still no flip flops thats 3 campaigns o/s now ..and all 3 of my customers no longer want them..im very very peeved!
the full size Anew product is a free gift being offered if you reached HOV in your first campaign. Hope this helps :j0 -

Yes. you're right but usually it's a Anew Night Cream and it's listed on the invoice as being free. Interesting though if they have changed the product now.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

the mousse foundations is in c14 on the online offers.
Just one word of warning on the 10% offer, it may cost you more than the "freebies" if they place a big order!!
You could tell them the free gift was out of stock as it was so popularBUT instead offer they pick ANY £1-1.50 item "to add to their order this time" instead the most they will cost you is £1.13 if you meet HOV and it encourages them to order this time

hi again, im doing a raffle camp 14, anyone spending £10 gets entered into a draw to win one of 2 prizes, a clinical eyelift or anew reversalist night cream both were freebies got 1 for reaching hov 1st camp and the other when i ordered some anti ageing stuff for myself. also one customer that always spends £40 ish each campaign has ordered some handwash camp 13 so i ordered a glimmerstick from camp 12 and then will order a handcream next camp to get a free bathrobe then give her it as a surprise free gift think she will love it lol xxx0

i've just done my first campaign, did the tea bag with intro and was thinking of re-canvassing the area for ext campaign and offering everyone a free gift for orders over £10
do people just do this every campaign?0 -
No I tend to vary it. This time I'm letting my customers pick 3 free lipstick samples. Last campaign I offered the new lotus shield at just £4. A few campaigns before I did free gift with orders over £10, campaign 3 I offered the new mega impact lipstick at £3.20 which was cheaper than the brochure price. It just keeps things interesting for your customers, some incentives will work for some customers but not others.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Busy day for me today as it was delivery day and now im ready with some questions for you's lol.
Any sales leaders I could use your help, on my invoice (the page that says what you earnt etc) the part that tells you your balance theres abit that says 'sales leader payment' with the name of a rep i signed up and its got £5.49 im presuming this is for brochures? iv only got 3 in my team so dont earn commission from them. So have avon took this money from my balance I owe? I thought they would pay it in my bank account
The herve leger incentive-am i right in thinking avon are running 2 incentives 1 for reps and 1 for customers, for each perfume I sell do I get entered into the reps comp and every customer that buys one gets entered into the customer comp? would the customer have to enter a code online or something to enter this after buying a perfume?
My invoice says Iv been selected to offer my customers the chance to order 5 free samples and was given a pad of paper which lists all the samples they could choose but then it says 'to support you as you invest in your business all samples are half price accross HT 15,16,17. So does this mean if customers order 5 samples for 'free' im actually having to pay for them at half price? it so confusing, i dont want to give customers the sheets of papers letting them choose 5 samples if i have to pay for them. I have 80 customers, Im not paying for 400 samples :shocked:0 -
Yes - those refunds are refunds for the brochures & packs. It won't go into your bank account as it isn't earnings. In theory, the refunds will cancel out the charges for appointment packs & books that go onto your account.
And yes for the samples you have to pay for them. A little bird passed on the sample leaflets I made onto avon, I haven't seen what they look like but guessing they're not to dissimilar. Its worth doing, even if you make your own similar leaflets, that let your customers pick samples when they spend say £5. Means your customers are getting samples that they are actually interested in.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
