    Glad you noticed, SG; really T's me off when they 'offer' us goods at a higher price than to Jo Public. Current online offers are another example: shower gel @ 99p Come on Avon, don't treat us as stupid!:mad:

    Can anyone tell me if Avon have discontinued Matt Mousse Foundation please - the one in a pot as opposed to the stick?

    Hi,
    I am after a bit of advice from any S/L's.
    I am interested in the above. I am a fairly new rep but have had good sales and increasing customers each campaign.
    Do you find S/L worthwhile?
    I am a bit concerned that it could take up quite alot of my time and then this could have a negative effect on my own sales for little gain. Maybe this is not the case so I would appreciate any advice you could give me before I make up my mind.

    I know there are ALOT of reps with "stock" of the white flip flops from c10 who are now selling them on to other reps who have been unable to get them direct from avon! this is really unfair in my eyes are these reps then have to pay out their commission for the postage charges (or even a premium on places like ebay etc) ....AND dont get the award sales, AND cant return them if there was a problem. And the person who is selling them on is not out of pocket AND keeps their sales figures and maybe even in profit! Whereas if everyone had only ordered those for the orders they needed to fulfill OR sent back the ones they dont need now there is a shortage... then reps who are waiting may actually get them from avon and not have to disapoint their customers !!

    Sorry i know alot of people wont agree with me on this... but i think in the spirit of "avon karma" we should think of other reps and how they are going to have to deal with disapointting customers who want to take part in the scheme if there are stock problems because theres 1000's of robes sat in reps stock boxes elsewhere just because we "can" fiddle the system if we want to!!

    sorry if ive offended anyone.. but its just my opinion.

    Very good post! I must be quite naive as I never realised that people stock up in advance for re-selling. And yes, it must really add to or even create an OOS situation very quickly. mmmm......

    I'm only just getting the hang of 'creative ordering' after nearly 7 years. I'm no saint though, just a bit slow.

    Hi Hayston, I am also thinking about becoming a S/L. If you read back to my Post 641 in this forum there should be some useful info that follows.

    I’m ordering the Herve Leger Femme perfume; I’m planning on giving two as presents so hopefully someone will buy the third one! I was just wondering if that would count towards the order value for the campaign you order it in, or the campaign you pay for it in? If it’s the one you order it in I might have got HOV!*fingers crossed.*

    I was looking for this for a customer recently. No trace of it in the catalogues. I've recommended Ideal Shade cream to powder foundation instead.

    Im having a bit of a problem with something that was avons mistake. I ordered a necklace for someone in c11 and although it was on the reciept it was actually one of the cheap angel birthstone necklaces that was in the box.I called them up and I dont think he understood what I was saying, however 2 days later I got the right necklace and I sent the other back with the next delivery. Now they are still asking me for the necklace that I only got 1 of. I sent the wrong one back with 3 other things so I know they got it cause they have been taken off. I dont want to end up paying twice. I have emailed them saying what happened but emails sometimes are a bit difficult to understand.

    dizzybella, if you have emailed them, it will be dealt with by customer services in Corby/Northampton. Can't remember where they are based.

    If there are any problems, they will email you back. I find they are very quick with email responses, unless it is a really difficult question I am asking them.

    If you are still worried, why not ask your ASM/SL to contact Avon on your behalf and explain the situation?

    At all times if unable to send your order on the due date please make sure to let us know. As Avon are following up NO received orders with a Phone call your message will help to update our records sooner.

    For personal reasons, haven't put one in for C13 yet. And am getting messages from people I don't know - seems like my ASM team has grown to a number of people!

    Can anyone remind me what is the minimum I need to do to keep my account ticking over for a while. As I've qualified for the Advance Techniques freebies, I've no intention of closing it just yet ;)
