I have had my delivery this morning for campaign 12, one item has leaked over several others, I am missing some brochures (which the Avon helpline said will be with me in 10 working days!!!), there are a few other items delayed and I also have 18 items missing from the clearance section (these are free gifts), I put a sticker on my brochures to say spend £15 or over and receive a free gift, it turns out that even though when I placed the order they were in stock they are now no longer in stock there is nothing Avon can do about it so I now have to say to my customers tonight sorry but your free gift is going to be delayed by a campaign. I am not happy, this is only my second campaign and I think it just looks so unprofessional.
Sorry to rant but not a happy bunny!!!!!:mad:0 -
Hi, I'm new to the board but have been lurking for a while, as you do.
I have been an Avon rep for just over a year and tick along quite nicely. I don't have massive sales but usually around the £200 mark which isn't too shabby.
I was just wondering if you could help me with a query. I have a load of returns this month and was wondering if I could deduct the amount from my outstanding balance or if I have to wait for them to receive them and the credit is showing on my account.
I've only had one return before and it was only a small amount so not an issue. This month I seem to have masses of them and it soons adds up.
Many thanks for your help.
Maria
Hi Maria,
Yes, perfectly OK for you to apply for credit for all the items you are returning, submit them to Avon and then deduct the amount off your Account Balance. It will save your credits and then if you View your Credits it will give you the total credit due. The website will also show the amount of credit applied for on the page where it gives you the opportunity to print off your returns form. Takes a while for the website to register the credit and you may even get a reminder email saying that you still owe them some money. Don't worry, just reply that it's covered by returns and that should sort that.
Hope that helps.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

hello quick question please
i have seemed to get a free full size avon anew luminosty which is worth £15 at the moment..its absoulty written absoulty no where why i have got this! It says that i qualified for my lotus shield and got £15 worth of freebies to be sent in campaign 15..3 more campaigns away..1.. i didnt think i did quaify as i only ordered 2 products of £1.50 each not £15 worth ..unless you include the lotus sheild money saver offer which i got a phone call offer , and i took it up..still no mention of the anew product...im confused!..any ideas why i got this free unmentioned product..was it a whoopsie freebie extra..i hope so lol
also ggggggaaaa still no flip flops thats 3 campaigns o/s now ..and all 3 of my customers no longer want them..im very very peeved!
Yes, by ordering the MM Lotus shield (3 bottles) you automatically qualified for £15 of freebies - whatever they are going to be - in C15.
No idea re. the free product i.e. either a mistake or if you hit HOV in your first order, maybe Avon have changed the free product they give? If the latter though, it would be listed on your invoice so am guessing it was a mistake. Lucky you! :T
Sorry about your o-o-s flipflops (am feeling a bit guilty now); just got one pair of each size left now if anyone does actually still want any.

Rant away, CB. It's a real pain when a product leaks; had it myself very early on but it's never happened since for some reason. As for your books, I've never been shorted but that's probably why Avon suggest (and your SL/ASM should have mentioned) that it's a good idea to order your books two campaigns ahead. Realise that's cold comfort now but hopefully something you can now protect yourself from happening again in the future.
Well done you re. your incentive scheme but, again - all down to experience - it's safer to back-order whatever the 99p offer is rather than rely on Clearance. No-one ever told me either but I now believe you can't back-order Clearance from HT so don't even try....
Instead of telling your customers they'll have to wait for their free gift why not do a little note, explaining that unfortunately the free gift you ordered and had intended to give them turned out to be out of stock but rather than disappoint them here's a 10% voucher off your next order? Just a thought..... Should guarantee they order next time too!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi Marsden Cuckoo
Thanks for you help. I didn't really fancy having to pay for them and wait

Thank you Marsden Cuckoo
It seems that I wasnt told a lot of things when I signed up as a rep and its only through this site that I am learning, I will make sure going forward that I order my brochures well in advance and also that 10% discount is a great idea, I was dreading having to tell them.0 -
You're both very welcome. I'm always recommending this site to people interested in Avon; it's been a great help to me too!:TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon

snipped
what I do now if I offer a free gift, and I don't have anything in my Avon Box - I have a lot of bits, freebies, creative ordering, etc. I look through the previous Campaign book and look for the cheapest item, ie 99p and order that. It doesn't matter if it a body spray, underarm deodorant, SSS spray, etc. The fact it is free and they think you have spent money on them, makes them happy
If you can afford it, it might be worth stocking up a small box with cheap items from clearance, maybe one or two each campaign? Then you can run an offer again without worrying that you won't have items delivered.
And yes I learnt the hard way you cannot back order from Clearance at the same price in HT as the back order, they will charge you the price in the current HT. So be careful.0
