I would up the min order for a free gift. If they are spending £5 you will make £1 on 20% or £1.25 on 25% and then if you are spending 75p on a gift, you are not making much for yourself. My min order for a free gift is £20 and my loyalty scheme is £10 order gets a stamp, that way customers always spend min of £10 plus sometimes they want a freebie. Then i order the same free gift for everyone, yesterdays had the mango & ginger 2-in-1 shampoo and conditionerC7 - 221.05 :j C8 - 308.07 :j C9 - 250.84 :j C10 - £525.25 :j:j C11 - £467.91 :j C12 - 491.44 :j C13 - £442.09 :j C14 - £357.95 :j0

Thanks for the feedback. This was a 'one off' introductory free gift for recanvassed houses - just to get them hooked. Wouldn't dream of offering it on an on-going basis. I've yet to introduce an on-going loyalty scheme, sounds like a good idea."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Well, had an order with no name or address on it, not even a signature. Can't tell from the writing who it is....managed to narrow it down a bit from the day it was collected and text those I thought it could be...heard from 2 and it isn't them, not heard from the other two....so will have to do a note and put it in with all the books asking people to contact me if they placed an order.
and my Mum thought we were being daft stickering up the order forms with "please remember to complete your name & address and include a phone number / email address"....as even so people manage to forget lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Hi everyone,
I'm Emma and became an Avon rep just a few weeks ago.
I came across this thread and have been reading constantly to get as much advice as I can find.
However reading through pages and pages of info and be very time consuming, so I have put together a forum. The information will be easier to access as there are several categories as opposed to just one thread.
I hope some of you will join me there and many thanks to all who have posted in this thread. I'm feeling very inspired.
I'm not allowed to post my forum link here so please check my profile for the link if you are interested.
Thank you.0 -

Hi,
I like the sound of your offers : ) How many stamps do you give on your loyalty card and what happens when it's full?
Thanks0 -

I currently do Avon in France but most of the products are so much more expensive than they are in England. I am now wondering whether it would be worth signing up my husband to do it in the UK (he works in London and rents a room off my nan during the week, then commutes back to France for the weekend) and then sell the products from the UK to some of my customers in France. The only problem I can see is that as he rents off my nan he doesn't actually have an address in the UK. Would this be a problem for the credit check? Also do the bottles etc have both French and English writing on them in the UK? Thanks for your help.
