Don't forget you'll only pay tax on your profit and there's lots of costs involved with Avon ;) as A said, I work full time and do Avon as well, the assessment is really easy and if you claim for everything possibly you'll pay hardly any tax on your Avon.

Aw bums, I've not been keeping receipts for stationary, I've spent a fair bit on labels, staples, ink for computer.

It's not just the effort I'm annoyed about. We don't make much money any way, and now the taxman wants a share?! I wouldn't need to work for Avon if the taxman didn't already take like £500 of my pay every month!!

When you fill in your self-assessment form you will only have to give an overall amount for expenses, rather than a detailed list. It is really as simple as turnover, expenses, profit.

Perhaps these items appear on credit card bills so you could justify them if you should be asked for receipts (not that it's likely).

I don't think thats true, you have to inform inland revenue yourself, you can do this through their website, its easy to do
Yes thats right. You still have to inform I.R yourself but so will avon at this point.

I have just been onto vistaprint and ordered some postcards to advertise a free gift when they introduce a friend. Took up some other free offers too 100 postcards, 250 business cards, 25 magnets (with my baby's photo on :)) and a stamp. The postage was ok too considering what I ordered. Will be putting them in with the avon books once they arrive. Off to collect the last of my books today and chase up the few that didnt put them out.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAH, remember I told you about the Rep who wasn't in the country and someone else hacked her account? They have done it again. Was just printing out her returns form to take to her sister to return the unrequested goods, 2 addresses came up on the returns form, her former address and her current address. Just checked her profile, and the person who is hacking the account, has put the old address as a delivery address! The quicker we get these items returned and the account closed! I will not have this Rep with a black mark and in debt for something she is not doing!

Luckily her sister has signed up and has been accepted by Avon!

Or you could use topcashback - I like these ones.

no, not GMTV. Topcashback is good, as they don't charge an admin fee, everything you earn is yours.
Although they own offer £5 once for free offers every month, if you pay for the goods, rather than the freebies, you will get the £5 cashback.

    Quidco have two offers now
£5 for an offer and £2.50 for free offers.

Completely upto you which you choose to use. Depends what else you buy on line, I always compare both sites to see which is offering the most, as have accounts with both :)
