Thanks so much for all your help! And is all this done automatically when I order? Is this the same as the ''Money Maker'' offers people talk about?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks again! :)

Don't worry about all the questions. Remember someone else is thinking exactly the same thing as you and maybe to shy to ask.

so ask as many as you like!

Yes the points calculation is done automatically, it will show on your paper statement with your invoice, when you get your delivery. I was pleasantly surprised to see on mine i had qualified for £15 worth.

The money maker is a similar thing, except you don't get a reward like with the lotus shield. The money makers offer you the products cheaply, ie buy 10 of x product, for only £8 and sell them at £15, meaning you will earn more from buying cheaply and selling at the expensive price.

Well, I did my first book collection. I had about 10 no answers, but a lot of books back, but only £52 of orders from 3 houses :( I'm waiting for one woman to ring me as she couldn't find her book, but that's it. I never expected to make my fortune but I hoped to at least make MOV. feel really down and wonder if it's worth it.

Hey bookgirl that's really good. I am aiming for a 1% response rate i.e 1 order for every 10 books I give out. I picked up 15 books tonight and only got 1 order for 8 pounds which I was quite chuffed with. I met a few really nice ladies who said they'd order next time. HOWEVER, I then went to a different street to post the books and I got halfway round when a woman came out and told me their street already had a rep and had had one for 3 yrs!! I am raging - have just wasted my time and abut 15 books. Don't know whether to go back for them or not. Have just e-mailed my area manager - don't know why i got that street and am now paranoid about my other streets. My C13 order is going to be pretty low but am going to get a newsletter and some special offers organised for C14. Keep your chin up - you just need to persevere and build long term relationships by being reliable - i think. financeflop x

Which invoice did it show on and where abouts? Camp12? I hope not as mine didn't show anything (prob due to the fact that they messed my moneymaker order up...twice!!! Finally received 10 this morning...YAY :T) Do you get points for all AT stuff sold in camp12, even if it is backordered from camp11?
    Everyone loves a bargain

As Aureol said, don't get disheartened.

Did you just drop books in or actually ask if they wanted one? If you pluck up the courage to ask then at least you know you're in with half a chance!

Good idea is to ask the people, who have ordered, if they know of anyone else who may be interested. Mention that you give a free gift for referral to a new customer (usually works a treat) and that should help get the ball rolling.

As mentioned earlier by others, C13 is not 'one of the best' :( I've had customers, who normally order every single campaign, just pass this one by. Another good reason for splitting your customer base between your current and back campaign - not only does it minimise the amount of books you need to buy but it also helps protect you from the occasional 'naff' campaign.

As for the 'loyalty' offer, I've had a few customers order nothing but the liquid soap for £1 - don't have the heart to explain the actual offer to them! After all, a sale is a sale.....

You wont be left with the products - just send back the ones you didn't sell for a full refund.

Dont you mean youve been back an explained to them and they have then ordered £10 worth of goods?? Unfortunetly your other customer called at the same time and cancelled their £10 order which oh my gosh was same items! How bizarre is that! So now your customers who ordered the liquid soap have ordered £11 in stuff and qualify completely and properly for the loyalty scheme???? :D

God knows what they'll be sending as the free products for this lotus shield thing...can't remember them doing one like this before, it's usually been vouchers for something rubbish, or they've said it's x item you'll get. Whatever they send, the value will be the rrp value wo won't be that many items, and at a guess may be discontinued stuff, however I don't mind as it's free lol. I can use the bits myself, sell them on or give them to customers.

Oh noooo - it never occured to me that they'd send voucher books like the last time, ie vouchers for money off worth £15. Ah well, I've only got the 15 points I think - chin up, "something is better than nothing"!

Went last night to get C13 books, biggest order is £27, but most of the others are less than £20 each. Still quite a lot outstanding so I'll be pounding the streets again tonight, hope the weather stays dry! Not counted up yet, will do that after tonight as I think it'll be a bit depressing ATM!

Really fed up now with Avon sending the wrong items or items missing from the boxes. It has happenned every campaign for the past 4 - I think customers are starting to think its my fault which is the only thing which would make me give up. Its not the hard work, or the time it takes - its my customers thinking I'm fibbing to them to cover up my mistake - when its Avon's fault!

I actually DREAD my delivery coming now, rather than looking forward to it. I just look at the boxes and think "what will be missing or wrong this time?".

Sorry on a bit of a downer today. Didn't get home from work last night until 6pm then had to go out and do my deliveries which seemed to take an age, and then what with the explaining that items were missing or wrong ...... really did not enjoy being an Avon lady last night.

No it won't be vouchers this time as they've specified it'll be products. In the past the vouchers were for free haircuts etc, though you could only use them at certain places, and they said the incentive was for vouchers.
