Re the photo frame: If you go into the News section of the website there is more details about the frames! You can just return the lead and AVON will send a new one. there is a special way of doing this though.

We need to go through all our orders though and let EVERYONE who has bought one since Sept 2009 know!! this is gonna be such a pain BUT id hate a kiddy or someone to touch one id sold them and get an electric shock!! Specially as my ex has just bought one off me so it could be my daughter! most of them are probably fine.. but i wouldnt wanna take the responsibility if any of them werent.. just cos i couldnt be bothered to check through my forms!

if you dont have your forms or know who has bought them avon will send a flyer for you to give to ALL your customers to warn them.

even ex reps are being asked to contact their customers!!

Oh great. Sold 2 to a customer who gave one as a gift to her neighbour (another customer of mine). This was last year... don't think they're going to be too happy.

Will Avon automatically send us flyers - or do we have to request them? Thanks

as a customer ( well I process online for my wife / MIL ) they spend as £40- £50 every other month.
Always get free p+p , delivered in days ( was 2-3 weeks for the local rep)
Never got anything wrong so far ( can't say that for rep)
10% discount code comes with each mag
often also get 10% from quidco..
careful use on Multi buys, loyalty etc saves more

Seems to me Avon reps have a big competitor in-house

As customers would be any better having own agency ?

Payless - If you needed to return something, how would you go about it? If you have a rep, they come and get it from you and sort it all out, you dont do a thing!

Hi all, so I have applied via the avon web site regarding becoming a rep, however have not heard anything from them. Does anyone know how long it normally takes for them to get in touch. Want to get started before I loss my motivation.

Fairly sure they send a prepaid return slip in the order- although to be fair given the individual valueof each item I don't think they would bother with a return via either route.

service online been great, OK I'm sure a really good rep may add value... but most seem to be "leaflet droppers & order takers" for which the extra cost ( over internet price ) is not justified.

My question was more about if as an agent at low level sales one is any better off.

Payless, am I right in thinking you are asking if you would be better off becoming a rep rather than putting these orders through online?

If so, I would think, yes. If you made sure the order value was over £48 each time you would get 20% off the order and free delivery and returns. Admittedly delivery would only be once every 3 weeks but I imagine you tend to buy a 'joblot' once a month at the moment anyway?

The other advantage is you get Hello tomorrow which allows you to look at products pre-release and buy them at 'demo' prices, these work out less than the normal 20% off.
