Not personally had a problem with mine -they are ace.
It's good to know that Avon take these things seriously. May be hassle though remembering which customers actually ordered the frames - and you wouldn't necessarily want to alert customers who haven't brought it.
How's everyone else going to tackle this?
Are there many Avon recalls - I've not come across one before.
Cheers

I'm worried my second campaign is not going to go well - it seems too soon for anyone to order again after the last campaign.
Anyway, I was thinking of a refer a friend offer to try and get some new customers. Has anyone had experience of this and what kind of offer did you do that worked well? I was thinking 15% off their next order (but if there's nothing they want because they just ordered then maybe this is a bad idea?)
I've also considered a free gift (do customers really go for this?)
Finally when they 'refer a friend', do you pick the friends order up from your customers house too?
Confused!!
I personally wouldn't recommend percentages of their order, as this comes out of your discount, unless you can do creative ordering.
But believe me, customers like free gifts and you don't have to tell them what you are giving them!
I have had referrals from people where I have offered free gifts. They were very pleased with the free shower gel or hand cream I gave them.
With my customers I have had to pick up the friend's order from the customer's house, and deliver there and collect the money, purely because of the customer location. But this hasn't been a problem.0 -

not meaning to be negative - what happens if someone has brought this as a gift - and it's got a precious voice-recording on it?
I know it's not Avon's fault - just thinking about how this is going to work?0 -

Sounds like a good plan! I hope people don't cheat and just put someone elses name on their order form haha, I really would like some more customers!0 -
Do you live in an area with Tescos and Sainsbury's? Ours offer free advertising and anyone can advertise, ie getting rid of old baby stuff, selling a sofa, looking for Avon customers....
Just make up an eye catching postcard with your info, mobile and email, and something like... Like makeup? Want to buy cheaper cosmetics without losing the QUALITY? Have a look at an Avon brochure today! Just call xxx on xxx, or e-mail xxx.
OK, on the hoof advert, not very good but you get the idea. This is a way of attracting new customers.
Also I have been told Polish, Malaysian, Spanish and Portugese ladies love Avon. So if any in your area, get one to have a look at a book and hopefully she can get her friends to have a look too.
Promote yourself wherever you go, ask friends and family to take a book to work, the gym, baby group, etc for you. Offer them a free gift if they get you customers. I did this with one customer, she used to take my books to her son's nursery. She was in it for the free gifts!
If you are on facebook, promote to your friends.0
