I was hoping none of my customers would order this cos I soooo don't get it :o

All they have to do is spend £10 in C12, C13 & C14 and order 1 product at a discounted rate (glimmerstick @ £2 in C12, Liquid soap @ £1 in C13 and Hand cream @ £1 in C14) using the special order numbers. Then you can order them the bathrobe in C14. As I said in an earlier post, I am really pleased with mine (wearing it at the mo) so will order a couple more and give the buys as freebies or for Christmas pressies.

Only had 1 customer take up the offer.

Oh - had to say, have sold (drum roll) 2 Lotus Shield :j

  • Hiya,

So if somebody orders the right ammount from C12 should I maybe put a little note in with their order reminding them? I guess some people might not have realised?

Also I'm a new rep - can anyone explain to me the lotus shield points thingy? Really don't understand!!

    Thanks!

I've only got one customer who's doing it by the looks of it (well she's met the spend requirements, and ordered the glimmersticks and hand soap). She also ordered the towel set so looks like she'll be going the whole hog!

Will start to see what C13 is looking like tonight, have only dropped to my customers this time due to hols etc. Picking some up tonight and anybody who's not finished with it I'll pick up next week. Got one order for £27 so far. If I do HOV for the next couple of camps then I'll prob be happy with that as everybody seems to be going away! Except me!!

PS Must order some lotus shield for myself. This up and down weather is playing havoc with my hair!! Grr!

As a sales leader you don't *have* to have a certain amount of people in your team, however you won't earn anything until you have 5 reps placing orders of a certain amount. You also need to place an order of £148 (taking into account returns as well which is a pain) in order to qualify to earn off your teams sales. So make sure you have a good customer base! To get started as a sales leader, contact whoever signed you up, they will able to get you "tagged" as a sales leader, and they will be the ones providing brochures & sign up packs for ALL reps you sign up within the first 2 campaigns of becoming a SL. There is a one off cost of £25 to be a sales leader, and there are some bonuses available, though I can't find the info for them at the mo, hopefully someone else knows!

There is a lot more work involved, while you can build your team at your pace - if a rep gets stuck, you'll be the one they contact for your advice, which can actually add up to a lot of time even when its only little queries (product info say for long serving reps). I work full time, both me & OH are reps (hence my sales figures, its for both our territories & f&f) as well as being a sales leader. I enjoy it though, and the extra money is great - most of our sales go through on OH account so I earn off them.

The bad points - not trying to put you off, but to give you the other side of the coin - you'll get people mess you about, not be in for appointments, not tell you they've changed their mind (if a new rep doesn't place an order of at least £78, we don't get our money back for the brochures & sign up pack we used, £5.49 worth - so if you can't get hold of them to get the books back, you're out of pocket), reps going to debt. However - the good out weighs the bad, I had awful luck last year, hardly any of the few people I signed stayed, but now I have a team of 13, and they're all great. I haven't signed anyone up for the last 2 weeks, as I haven't been looking for anyone (family bereavements) but the great thing is, I can plod along with my rep side, leave the SL recruiting, just helping the reps I have if they need any help, and still be earning.

    Hi,
Thanks for all the information! I'm going to have to think it through and see if I know anyone who wants to be a Rep.

I got my bathrobe yesterday and love the fact it is so light, but...shame they only did them in one size (M/L) as it swims on me a bit. MIL mentioned she liked it though so am going to order another one on the back of the fact that a few customers have ordered the glimmersticks this time. I will order some soaps and the handcreams if noone does over the next 2 campaigns and Bingo...one happy MIL :)

  • Quick question that has just been put to me by a customer. Is the code on the bottom of the body yoghurts an expiry or manufacturers date?

Try washing it, think theres a little shrinkage. I'm size 10/12 and its generous but not swimming. Usually these avon robes fit round me twice!

Edit: Usually man dates rather than expiry on products.

    Hi All

Just a quick question. I was £917 short of presidents club this campaign & submitted my order last night which was just over this. If anything is out of stock does it count towards presidents club or will i have to wait until next campaign? My invoice isnt online yet but the balance is £719 so im not sure?

    Thanks xx
