Argh! I hope someone can help!

I have a customer who has ordered 04572 from campaign 11, Eyeshadow Palette in Pastel Passion. It's showing correct on the order, but then when I click through for the sub total, the code has changed to 18424 and the colour to Tempting Twilight. What do I do?

Have you tried typing in 18424 & seeing what it comes up with?

Yay! That worked! Opposite thing - tempting Twilight when I searched the code and on my order, but when I click through for sub total it's Pastel Passion! Madness! So glad I checked and double checked! Is it always like this? I won't have the time in term time!

It might be worth ordering both just incase. You can always send the wrong one back! Avon often makes mistakes unfortunatly so its always worth double checking!

Quick question that has just been put to me by a customer. Is the code on the bottom of the body yoghurts an expiry or manufacturers date?

It should be the manufactured date. If there's a pic of a little pot with a lid half off, that means you have 12months (or 24 in some cases) from when they're opened. If there's no pic of a pot, then it'll usually be 12months from the date of manufacture.

New problem! When I look at my order, it says my initial, then a pink line, then hello tomorrow products, then another pink line, then brochure products, then another pink line, then sales aids and samples...

then my name in full and another pink line and a seperate list of brochure products. Almost as if it's a separate order. Why would it do this?

    Hi Smattie

Im new myself, well on 2nd campaign now, the hardest part is trying to build up your customer base!
Ive still not canvassed my entire territory and have found that some customers want to see if im reliable before they are willing to order anything at all!
that would be my only drawback as such, apart from that I love it! from what im learning u definatly get out what you put in.

Hi, I would say go for it! The biggest draw back for me so far is having to go back to a house over and over again to try to deliver their items or get their order. Also there's the fact that you are working outside and it involves walking around a lot, although I love this.

The amount of time it all takes will depend on how many houses you have got to visit. It probably takes me an hour each week to either pick the books up or deliver the items. I am doing about 50 houses now and do them in two halves. However if the customer asks me to come back to collect an order, or is out when I'm delivering their item I go back the next day, so this add time. Other then that it's putting the order in online which takes me 20minutes at the most and then writing out the order forms (or you could buy a stamp.) I am not sure how long that takes me as I tend to do it bit by bit when I'm watching T.V.

Im on my 4th campaign and felt ready to give up after my first but then I decided to make it work better and I planned it more and I enjoy doing it now. I go round with my 9 month old and she waves as Im going to doors :). Sometimes it takes me a while and others it goes quick. I have had one woman decide not to pay but I had in mind that may happen and returning the products was easy. My main worry was knocking on doors but now I just do it and I have never had anyone being rude yet!
