Yeah, I can understand why there is a limit, it's just a bit limiting on how much I can do now!
I'll get my first set of books back and see how the orders are looking, as I will be lucky to have the problem of going over £200
I will keep you posted! Enjoying it apart from this so far0 -
Graduate, don't worry. Even if you get sales of £200+, once they take off your discount, your actual sales figure will be lower, so don't worry about any limits, go out and get orders!0

I think it is because you have yet to build up a reputation with Avon and they do not want people ordering several hundreds of pounds of products and then not paying. Graduate Bum I suggest you contact your SL and ask what would happen if you got orders over this amount on your first campaign. After your first campaign, should everything run smoothly, your limit will be increased.
oooh i see yes makes sense now!total debt 4711.00 at lbm (4217.31) dfd aug 2012  overdraft 800 (400.00) kill overdraft first, loan 1500.00 ,creditcard 2411.000 -

I was contacted the next day and we had a meeting that same afternoon. It will take at least a couple of weeks to get your income, though. If you're signed up with only a few days left to order in a campaign, you should be able to start on the next campaign because, unless you have lots of F+F who will definitely order and get you to MOV, you might not get enough orders in such a short timespan. So it'll be around 2 weeks at least between you signing up and starting to canvass, and doing your first deliveries.
aureol212 - could a list of everyones usernames on Connects be added to the first post?I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I guess I'd actually ring Avon and ask them to confirm on the max order value. I wasnt told anything about it when I signed up though.
If that was the case maybe they would let you order a larger amount if you paid uppfront £50 or something before you placed your order? Id definitely question it with Avon though rather than not accept orders.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
Yes you have a credit limit for your first camp, how they work it out I have no idea, but it's the amount you owe Avon so even a £200 limit means you can put £260ish through ok. If you get more, if you have a decent credit rating, lived at your address for a bit, then you can put a larger order through and Avon will do a more in-depth check. They might keep your limit the same in which case you pay the difference, or they can increase it so you Don't have to pay anything upfront. Don't worry about your limit, after your first camp it's increased a lot as you've paid for your first order so they know youre reliable.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Hi chasing sunshine, next time you log into FB, in the search box type the name of the town or city where you live and you'll find all kinds of groups / pages will come up. I posted on a couple of these saying I was a rep in the area and to contact me if they wanted a brochure..... and bingo... a lady sent me a FB message yesterday and I'm dropping a book round tomorrow.
I'll let you know if she orders anything!0 -

Anyone had a return not show, i added 6 items as a return but when i saved it one item does not appear on the returns list, then when i try and add it i cant because it thinks ive already added it
All the others have gone through and the item is £7.50 and that's what's owing on the account now.0 -

Hi Kayels,
Oxfordshire seems to be on the cusp of quite a few areas so there are quite a few area Managers that cover Oxfordshire - I know of at least 3 but there maybe more.
My ASM in Oxfordshire has been great, although she wasn't the ASM that signed me up. We get newsletters every campaign and motivational emails, and since becoming a SL she has been fab, very supportive! :T
Sorry to hear that your ASM isn't as supportive0
