  • Hulloooooooooooo! Well, i only have about 15 books to collect in now and i have reached over £200 in C15!! I'm veeeeeeeeeeeryyyyyyyyyyyyy chuffed!:j and that'll pay for my ladies night stuff (well, some of it! lol) I cant believe how well this is going... i cannot wait for the christmas books as my orders are probably going to soar! I never dreamed that it would go this well... long may it last. It just makes me want to do more and more.

Though i have one question... how do you organise you book drops of the next campaign in the week between order and delivery, i dont want to be dropping books to people and them going "well, i havent had my order yet so im not going to order from this book" :\

Argh - got my delivery last night. When I looked at my online invoice, everything was in stock except for the Morgan bags. OK thinks I, considering the product supply issue list on the website, I've done quite well. When my delivery arrived, there was a letter in there saying that they were sorry but the Megan boots were also OOS!

But I did get the frilly umbrellas and my shorted doggy door stops so I suppose it wasn't a complete disaster.

My OH was at home yesterday and had unpacked everything and ticked it off my invoice when I came home from work (without me asking). I then went out to deliver my customer books & order notes, and when I came back (OK I admit - I met him at the pub!) he had sorted it all into piles for each order (again without me asking!) so all we had left to do was bag up (which he also helped me with) !! Really pleased as we are out at the weekend quite a bit so I don't know when I'd have had chance to do it.

    What a little angel! :j:A:T

Firstly well done!! Yes I have big hopes for the Christmas books as things will probably drop off again in January.

I drop the next book into my customers the week before I do my delivery (I deliver on a Tuesday and their next books are usually delivered by the Friday before). In there is also their order reminder note to tell them what they owe and when their order will be delivered.

You might be surprised - I reckon I get around half of my books back when I go delivering, which only leaves me half to pick up the following week.

Personally, if I was a customer, I'd be going "ooh not looked yet as I couldn't remember what I'd ordered this time" but obviously some of my customers are much more organised than me!!!!!
  • Hi All

Is anyone having problems with the Av0n website this morning? I'm trying to add to my order, but it's not adding the items as I save them, but even this is a bit weird, because it will add some stuff but not others. I'm a little worried it may be something to do with my credit limit as I have a large order to input and it's just my second campaign. Is this normal? Help!!

    Beencounting

I don't have problems when I input my orders, but others have been reporting this since the new Avon Connects, not sure if it has anything to do with this.

Clear the cache on your browser, and try again. Or maybe use another browser? What do you currently use?

I did think about that but it'd be an additional order now I think as the deadline for me was wednesday night. I dont mind paying the £2.50 for additional but would it still count toward the total order value?

I'm not sure where I went wrong as I'm sure the sub total showed £190+, it was only when I logged in yesterday it said my account balance was £141
    :undecided

additional orders won't count towards your original order, if it is already being processed. You can usually add items to your original order, within a few hours, but after that it goes as an additional order.

You could always order items to make it upto MOV. so you still make a discount on your order. Then return the items you don't want.
  • Hi Aureol

I'm using IE at the moment, but I'll do as you suggest and log in from Firefox to see if that'll help. Didn't think of that!

    Thanks!

Claregre - Yay, what a fab hubby!

aureol212 - thanks for putting me straight about the balance. I'm going to wait a few days and see if it appears on the system. I've still got until 28th to pay it off.

claregre - mine's offered to help out, too - only because it's boring waiting in the car! My mum was visiting so she came around with me last time. I'm finding two hands aren't enough when you've got a box of bagged orders, money and change to swap, and samples to give out. So husband is going to be holding the sample box in future.

I found a pin badge on eBay that's only £1.64 all-in. It's one from the 80s so "Avon" is in a different font, but the seller had 10 or more items left.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

hello ive just noticed quidco give a 10% cash back on orders at the mo does anyone know if this works with reps? could be a nice money earner ?

No, we have discussed this before. You could not put all your orders through Quidco as if customers wanted to do a return, you would have to repay them the full amount, but how would you return to Avon?

You could return a few items under the 90 day guarantee.

I will try to find the original post where we have discussed the pros and cons of this, I know there was big con for doing it, which is why we don't recommend it.
