I found a pin badge on eBay that's only £1.64 all-in. It's one from the 80s so "Avon" is in a different font, but the seller had 10 or more items left.

I think thats the one I just bought :)

    Thanks Becca....

but it's for the USA not UK as far as I can make out.

Can anyone else give me the idiot's version of 'how to find a rep' on one of Avon's websites

    Sorry to be so thick!

I can't find how you would find a rep without registering on the Avon site, as a new customer.

The only other place you MIGHT be able to find who else is in your area, is this post

So whats your Area??? Number and Name time

if you look for this in discussion groups, it was set up by Wanda Hornsey and she had 400 replies, but some may be chat.

No, we have discussed this before. You could not put all your orders through Quidco as if customers wanted to do a return, you would have to repay them the full amount, but how would you return to Avon?

You could return a few items under the 90 day guarantee.

I will try to find the original post where we have discussed the pros and cons of this, I know there was big con for doing it, which is why we don't recommend it.

Quidco is for avonshop.co.uk which is for customers to buy directly at full price without commission. If a Rep ordered that way, they'd get less than by doing it the normal way and it wouldn't count as a Rep order.

  • I did think about that but it'd be an additional order now I think as the deadline for me was wednesday night. I dont mind paying the £2.50 for additional but would it still count toward the total order value?

I'm not sure where I went wrong as I'm sure the sub total showed £190+, it was only when I logged in yesterday it said my account balance was £141
    :undecided

Im only on my second campaign so anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong, when you log in, your balance will be what you owe avon not the total of your order, for example my last order came to £335, but my account balance is £281. so i would think that although your account balance is £141 your total will be higher because it will include your commission. If your invoice is available to view online now have a look, go down to 'your campaign 14 order' look at the column that says 'avon price' and it will show the amount that counts towards your targets. also if you go to the tab at the top saying My account, then click on presidents club if thats on there yet it will show you how much youve achieved towards pc status with this being your first order that will be what has been counted this campaign. I hope this all makes sense because i have a habit of waffling a bit :)

ok I was wrong about customer returns. They get sent a pre-paid postage sticker, if they want to return things, and get a free next campaign book too.

But as a Rep, you could not link your Rep account to Quidco. If you tried to , it would just take you to the Retail Avon site as !!!!!! Here says.

Also, you wouldn't be able to order HT items through Quidco.

Chasing Sunshine - Did you have any yellow dots when you placed your order? It could be the account balance is lower due to items being out of stock. Avon only invoice you when the items are in stock.

Good news for me. I placed an additional order for my friends order, but when I looked at the account balance it weas higher than expected. This morning I looked at the invoice and the Morgan bag that was out of stock two days earlier is now in stock and is being sent with my additional order instead of me having to wait for the next campaign.:j

rachelet can i ask how you know when somethings back in stock checking online?

HI chasingsunshine, I think Lozza and Lynn have answered you correctly.

You have submitted orders for £190+, but what you owe Avon is only £141, the rest is your discount. ie the money you have earnt on your total sales.

    So you have earnt £49+

Lynn is right. Log into your account, go to my orders, order tracking, look for your latest invoice, and on the right hand side you should see prepared, if you click on it, you will see your invoice. And it will show you how much your total sales were, how much your customers have to pay, how much you pay avon, and how much discount you have earnt.

If you are still confused PM me please. :)

Noynoy, I only know because the invoice for my additional order is now showing online and the Red Morgan bag is on the invoice. Its bizarre, my regular order was put in Tuesday evening and the bag was out of stock, two days later, I put in an additional order and the bag is in stock again as it is on my new invoice.

    Campaign 15 products with discount 33.00 26.40 6.60
    Campaign 15 products with fixed discount 12.00 9.96 2.04
    Campaign 14 products with discount 26.00 20.80 5.20
    Products with no discount 40.40 40.40 0.00
    Postage and Packaging Charge 2.50
    Campaign 15 order total £111.40 £100.06 £13.84

the first column is total sales and what customers will have to pay, second column is what you actually pay avon and third column is your discount.

When copying pasting, lose the formatting so even though nicely spaced out, etc, it will lump it all together.
