Saves loads of time and prevents me looking very strange in the middle of people's streets trying to type on my phone, which I am never very good at!!!
My OH suggested thought that perhaps I didn't want to stand outside someone's house and say "15 xxxx road, not interested", perhaps I might want to use a code like NI, or DNC (do not call) as they might be offended to hear me being so short about them!!!!0 -
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone actually uses an excel spreadsheet to help keep records and whether there is a template i could work with anywhere??
thanks
I've got one Linzi - what's your email? Please don't think I'm OCD and wierd! I'm a teacher and so I can be excused for having a super geeky spreadsheet0 -
...and relax. Have just typed in my last territory order for this camp. Just waiting on 2 friends to call their orders through later and I can submit my C14 order 7 days early :T Am off to Spain tomorrow so needed to get it all done and dusted before I go. Been a mad rush, but only put brochures out to those that have ordered from me before so missed out half my territory this time. Orders coming to £331 so far. Going to do a real push for new customers next camp. Not sure whether to put all new orders in a raffle or whether to offer a free item with each free order over £10. Thoughts? Gonna miss you all, but will be back in a week for my Avon fixEveryone loves a bargain :beer:0

Hi all been reading this thread with interest and have a few questions!
I recently signed up as an avon rep (last week!) two ladies came round and signed me up. She gave me 6 houses to go round to and said give it to work/friends/family. As I've only just moved to the area I don't really have any friends here and no family. I took the books into work but my boss said he's not happy with me giving them out at work so I couldn't do that.
So after that I went round to the 6 houses and all of them (well the 5 that were in!) said there is already a rep that goes to them who has been there for years. One of them said she would take my book anyway which I thought was odd but gave it to her, I then got a nasty text from the rep (i guess she took the book to get my phone number to give her?) basically saying stop trying to steal my customers!
(and on another note, I was expecting a lot more then six houses but she said that is all that is available in my area)
I was bit fed up so sent my sales leader a message saying I don't really wanna do it anymore as have nobody to give the books to, she replied saying fair enough but I will still need to pay the £15 admin fee.
Is this right as I thought you only paid it when you put in an order? I have told her she can have all the books back.
The other thing I thought was strange was when I looked through the paper work they gave me there was a leaflet about ordering the items online. When the women came to sign me up they said everytime I collected my orders to send it to them and they would then order the items and bring them around to my house. They said this was because they are sales leaders they take a cut of my profit.
I thought that was how it worked until reading the leaflet (and this forum!) and am now a little bit suspicous!
I am just really confused and not sure if I am being taken for a ride or not!!0 -

if there was no territory immediately where you live, they could have asked your ASM for territory in the surrounding areas.

No! You only pay £7.50 if you place an order in the first campaign and £7.50 in the second campaign.

I have sent you a PM! This is not how Avon is done! You complete your own orders, take delivery of them yourself, and distribute them yourself and keep any discount you earn for yourself!0 -
ok don't have Microsoft office installed... need to find my discs and do it.
Any reps from Merseyside or SLs on here please? Need some advice. Could you PM me please.0 -
Hi
Just a couple of questions:
1) How many Brochures is it best to order when you are just starting out and have done your 1st two campaigns?.
2) If you have a large territory ie 200 houses+, is it better to break it up and do it in bits or in one go each campaign?. I can just do mornings before I start work in the afternoons
My 2nd Campaign seems to be going well - have got 1 customer from 25 houses, 1 customer from work + her nan who hasn't seen a brochure for years and a potential customer from the neighbouring village - I advertised on Netmums and found her that way. I was told that they already had a Rep in that area. I also have some more books to collect by Friday!!0
