Does anyone know if the daily sale deals count towards your order total? And can anyone tell me how much my purchase of 40 brochures will cost? (do I order 8 packs of 5?) ta x0

Change to Summer Sale daily deal - 24th August
Due to product availability issues, a change has been made to the Summer Sale daily deal in the online offers section of the website for Tuesday 24th August. Instead of a free Senses Sunset Shower Gel 500ml with each purchase of the £3.50 products, you will now receive 2 x 250ml Senses Mystique Shower Gels.0 -
In France we have the option to enter in all our customer details and then when we enter the order, we can then enter each customer order separately. This has only just been made available to us over here, so it should be possible for Avon UK to also do it this way. When I go to view my order at the end, it has all the customer orders listed separately.
don't want that, we can't do creative ordering then...
One thing I can't do yet over here, although it is coming soon apparently, is see the prices of each item and view the subtotal. I have a spreadsheet set up where I try and calculate the customer cost and then my cost to Avon, but I always seem to get it slightly wrong until I get my invoice with my order.
we can see the subtotal
We can't see invoices online yet either over here. I have an option to click on to see the invoice, but when I click on it, a new window opens but it is completely blank.
I get this when using google chrome.
We have just switched over to using a new website though, so I am hoping that these glitches will get sorted out soon.
my answers are in red... had to put this in as message to short otherwise.0 -

yes, think it is glitch in system. just delete them now without reading.0 -
Sorry probably not explained myself very well.
I have a customer list (anybody who has ever ordered - even if its only once) and a prospect list (people who have never ordered).
As soon as someone orders, they go onto my "Customer" list and off my prospect list.
For the 150 houses which I have had since November, I recanvass the PROSPECTS (people who have never ordered before) once every 6 campaigns.
From that 150 I have 45 customers which get a book every time.
For the 150 houses which I got in June, I am canvassing every house and will do for 8 campaigns.
Again, for the 25 customers I have got from that territory, they get a book every time.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, that makes sense, it was probably just me being slow!! :rotfl:
Thanks very muchI'm looking forward to getting a good customer base. Will be strange picking up brochures from random houses across my territory though, I think I'll have lists everywhere haha! I already have lists of who not to give to each time I give out brochures! Thanks again

I'm still working on this, only on my third campaign now so still gathering my ''customers''
Does everyone do this? How often do you recanvass areas?
Thanks
I give all my customer the current book. Then I use the previous campaign books to canvass my territory. I try to do it every campaign, as I don't have a lot of houses that want to see a book but don't place an order, but don't always manage to get around all of it.0 -
Thanks for this :T - is that loose powder then? Or pressed? Or doesn't it matter?
Not used powder for ages as been using either nothing or cream-2-powder (avon of course), so that is very interesting and may explain a thing or two ...
I use pressed pdr (C Trend actually). I only put it on the area where I apply liner as powder around or under the eyes can show up wrinkles (on me anyway!)
The important thing is that there is no grease on the skin as liner will 'bleed'."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -

Wicked thanks loads :A
Have ordered some CT powder (best option money wise!). Everything you are saying makes sense as I do get quite a lot of oil on my eyelids.
Will have to dig out a dusting brush - must have one hanging around somewhere!0 -

Use your call books! Eventually you'll probably find it easier to log everything on a spreadsheet, but for the moment your call books will be priceless for that sort of thing.
Also if anybody catches me on the way round to ask me not to call again, I put a "voice recorder" memo on my mobile phone. Its quicker than writing and typing on your mobile!! I've just put a shortcut to the voice recorder on there, so I just select that, leave myself a message, then pick them all up when I get home and update my call book.
I also have "do not call" and "not interested" messages in my call book so I know those houses where it is inappropriate to drop a book (got a couple of male houses where their wives have passed away). Or where people have been rude.0
